Congrats Sara, you will be a mother soon A few weeks ago we gave our cats some spot-on anti-worm stuff, which usually works very well, not this time, 3 out of 4 cats had even more of those disgusting creatures than before. So i went back to the vet and asked what to do. He adviced another anti worm treatment, pills. One of our cats is an old, big alleycat who was terrible wild some years ago. He might be old and a little stiff, but he is as strong as a bear. My dauther and i tried to give him that pill. He did not want to, and objected in every way he could. So, while i was holding his forelegs, my daughter tried to put the pill in his mouth. He got so frustrated that he bit me three times really hard in my finger. Blooded like hell, and when i washed t out, i saw four very deep marks and a deep scratch, and of course i could not open the jodium container, so had to find tongs I am surely happy that i am not a mouse At last he ate half of the pill (all that was left after our attempts). Luckily the other cats won't be a problem, they are more or less home cats, and have had pills before. Life is never boring when you have animals. Soon we will have two golden retrievers, as a 'guest'. I know our cats don't like dogs. Let's see how it goes.

Humppaporo: I know what you mean about "cats and pills", I had to give a pill for 7 years to my cat, she died since 5 years , but I still have cats with problems, now, one of my cats, Colín, has allergy to fleas, I don´t know why, we live in a flat, but he use to have fleas sometimes, he bites and hurts himself a lot, so, I have to put a liquid (poison for fleas) in his body, and this is the aspect of my cat for about 2 weeks, poor Colín

One of my cats got stressed out a few months back and started overgrooming. It took a while to figure out what the problem was, because she decided to overgroom another one of my cats instead of herself. No one could figure out why his eyebrows seemed to have fallen out since he had no irritation. On a long haired black cat, it was pretty obvious. I have no idea why he didn't just walk away instead of just sitting there and letting her lick his eyebrows off.
