For example, I think about finland:
An Image: A snowy forest
What I think about the country: They have a very good educative system, it was very cold, the people are beer-lovers.
The most famous things: Litmanen, Hyyppia, the sports trade name Karhu, Helsinki, Thor...

Spain...never been there...
Think of Gaudi, heat, sun, dust, rocks, moutains, pine trees, olives, dryness, sea, paella, streetlife...
and of course of 'Don Quichote and Sancho Pancha' and Manuel de Falla, Flamenco, the Alhambra, Andalusian horses, hats...
and Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dali (!) of course
I won't think about politics....
just a bit brainstorming about Spain...
Oh, how could I forget: Dave :)of course!

Well, America... I thought it was a continent, not a country... maybe I should check my old geography books But in case you meant United States of America well, a country of 250 years of history created by and for puritans, a footstep that easily can be seen in their culture, from the eye of god in the paper dollars to the "in god we trust" in the dimes. a country of paradoxes in which a woman is thrown to hell for showing her nipple on tv while her brother is not condemned for sexual abuse to children. Preventive war against a country that had not done anything in the last ten years... now this country is truly a nest for terrorists War against a country they helped to create in the eighties Reellection of President George W. Bush, even though he said in public that reading made him suffer from headaches A country that has got the biggest reserves of petrol in the world... but keeps on buying the petrol from other countries, making the prizes of it increase and increase. Imperialism through its multinational companies Didn't sign Kioto protocol Dan Brown is also from USA.... Though well, they also have got Aerosmith, the best hard rock band in history; Los Angeles Lakers and NBA; Woody Allen and Clint Eastwood; Hawaii and Miami, The Simpsons... Definitely, a country with many good things, but also guilty of many of the bad things of this world
