Another good singer is Tobias Sammet from the german Power Metal Band "Edguy" Oh yes, he´s a good singer... but the ballads suit him better than the faster songs...

Just realised that I forgot one of my favorites, Kaapro Ikonen from CryHavoc. He definately has a great voice.
Too bad that this band doesn't exist anymore.

The only one I can think of right now is Mikael Akerfeldt from Opeth, he has a really nice voice and can grunt very well !

But I'm going to see Opeth live in Zoetermeer ;D On topic : Boudewijn de Groot is a great singer too, I love his lyrics, he's a protest singer (or how do you call it in English) from the Netherlands and he sings in Dutch ... Edit : I just remembered, I really like the sssssssss of the singer from Flogging Molly ;D

I wouldn't call it singing, but [glow=red,2,300]Dead[/glow] (Per Yngve Ohlin) from Mayhem's voice was so ghastly, it tears into your soul. Attila Csihar was no replacement. This may be on the commercial end of music, but [glow=red,2,300]Till Lindemann [/glow](Rammstein) has a great booming Teutonic voice. [glow=red,2,300]Byron[/glow] (Bal Sagoth) has a brilliant narrating voice.
Other ones worth mentioning are [glow=red,2,300]Hansi Kursch[/glow] (Blind Guardian), [glow=red,2,300]Robert Plant[/glow] (Led Zeppelin), [glow=red,2,300]Joacim Cans[/glow] (HammerFall), [glow=red,2,300]Isahn[/glow] (Emperor), [glow=red,2,300]Tarja Turunen[/glow] (Ex-Nightwish) [glow=red,2,300]Tom Araya[/glow] (Slayer, Reign In Blood through Seasons era), [glow=red,2,300]Vratyas Vakyas[/glow] (Falkenbach) and [glow=red,2,300]Jan 'Katla' Jämsen[/glow] (Finntroll).
