It's always so hard to choose some bands of the great number you use to hear! Moreover the chart you can give depends on a lot of things, your mood mainly. But as a rough guide my top 10 would be more or less as follows: 1: The Beatles: they were the kings, they were the greatest, they developed more than anybody else, and they set the deadlines of how music would be after them. Sergeant Peppers is the best album ever, and will always be. 2: Iron Maiden: 26 years of the best heavy metal; those unforgettable guitar dialogues, those unforguettable songs and albums, Eddie, Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, they had the most compact sound that rock could give in the 80's 3: Aerosmith: in fact the band I listen to most, and the first hard rock band I listen to when I was 14. Aerosmith is the story of how you can reach 58 years old with the same attitude, after rising to the top, falling to hell, learn the lesson and go to the top again. Let's see, they wrote Dream On, Toys In The Attic, Mamma Kin, Draw The Line.... 4: Jethro Tull: I talked about the developement of The Beatles, but no less spectacular was the developement of Jethro Tull & Ian Anderson; if you take their first album THis Was, and compare it to their fourth, Aqualung... it only was a difference of four years, but you couldn't think it was the same band... and which one was the next? THick As A Brick... can everybody say something else? 5: In Extremo: I still remember the first time I heard Ai Vis Lo Lop.... I knew I had discovered what I was searching for after a long time; this is the perfect combination, heavy metal and medieval music 6: My Dying Bride: At first I liked Anathema more than MDB, but later I understood there was no colour in the comparison; MBD are simply the greatest Doom band ever. And they've kept on doing the same, not as Anathema that now even regret of their past. Aaron, Andrew, some of the most beautiful love songs ever written... 7: Platero Y Tu: My favourite Spanish band, what a pity Fito left the band and it was broken. I never saw them live, which is one of my most personal regrets. Rock and roll, lyrics that tell you things that could happen to everyone of us. 8: an unknown band called Korpiklaani : I'm sure we all know why we like Korpiklaani, so it's useless to repeat it again and again... and maybe that's the best point of Korpiklaani, that surely we all, their fans, have the same feelling when we listen to them. 9: Cradle Of Filth: There was a time in which this band was my third favourite band... it's not that I like them now less, but just that I feel more identified with another rock style. Anyway they recorded the best album of the 90's (in my opinion) Dusk And Her Embrace... that's why they will alway be one of the greatest for me 10: Type O Negative, Crematory, Megadeth, Rotting Christ, Subway To Sally, Ñu, Kix, Metallica, Heroes Del Silencio, Ac/Dc..... ;D

Haha, I am probably going to sign my own death sentence by letting you guys know what kind of music I like. Here are some bands & artists (obviously others than Korpiklaani, and obviously very different types of music): Björk Kraftwerk Chemical Brothers Air Prodigy Rinneradio Radiohead Pink Floyd The Beatles The Doors Bob Marley Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Tom Waits Franz Ferdinand The Police Ismo Alanko Säätiö Soul Captain Band Kingston Wall Yup Why I like Korpiklaani is beyond my understanding. I know nothing about other Viking / Folk metal, or metal for that matter. I feel like a dumb unsophisticated blondie now...
