God damn fluffy socks. I lost sleep last night cus all i could think about was socks. I had a dream about socks. Im wearing fluffy socks (my mums pink fluffly ones) and I sent socks to Finland today. Crickey! I'm in shock at the moment cus my guitar hero, is one of the main culprits about fluffy socks. For someone who sang "I'd rather be with trees, than in the middle of noisy streets" would have so much input about this. Its about time I fessed up. I do like the feeling of fluffyness against my feet I confess I am a victim of fluffy socks too: Thank you Jonne for showing me that it is acceptible to enjoy the simple pleasures os fluffyness and confess about it and not be scared of being judged

If I have to make them to order, I want to be paid for my handiwork.....and he KNOWS I'm kidding, I'd never be that rude to his face.
Fullfy socks are lovely, but hand knitted socks, even if they arent fluffy, go really soft and comfy

Aaaah, I found it! Almost lost one of my socks today (not one of the fluffy ones though) but I only forgot it in the washing machine *relieved*
But what is much more interesting: Yesterday when we were baking pulla in our flat I found out that one of my flatmates collects socks. Her mother somehow designs and invents new patterns for socks so that this flatmate always gets the socks that are refused. She has now 40 pairs of socks in Oulu, which is really much if you take into consideration that she's an exchange student as well and must have brought them all from home or bought here since September.

Holy mother of god! And I thought I was a weirdo for having fluffy llama socks.. ;D They look exactly like these btw:

lumi: great lama socks, they are beautiful! Since everyone seems to do it here, i'll come 'out of the closet' too: I wear also fluffy socks, in all times of the year . Usually the simple grey, green or brown kinds. Socke: I don't have many pairs of shoes (like most women have), but I do have many pairs of socks! So I understand your flatmate...

Sure, I do understand it, too, and I myself like buying socks as well (and it's easier than buying shoes and makes more sense also). But still I think she's the record holder of our flat when it comes to socks. Maybe I have 27 or 28 pairs in Oulu but her 40 really beat that! ;D

I myself like buying socks as well (and it's easier than buying shoes and makes more sense also). When I was packing to move house, my mother counted 29 pairs of shoes. Might be time to do a clean-out! I looooove toe-socks - like gloves with little sausages for your toes. I have been wearing my stripey toe-sock collection all week. At home I wear them for bed socks.

I have red fluffy socks (thx Socke ;D ) but actually most of my socks are black, or grey, some with stripes and some with Snoopy on it! My mom taught me to knit when I was mmh *thinks* 8, but I never tried to knit a Pullover or Socks.. but i have two scarfs from my Mom she did for me last Winter

Ah, I too, own fluffy fuzy socks of DOOM (pics comming soon...if desired) They are so warm and comfy. I love my stripey toe socks hehe. I have a black, grey and white pair and blue and white pair. And then there is the pair of black and green wool knitted socks that one of my aunts from Serbia knitted and they are so warm and soft for wool. I cannot knit anything but I do embroidery instead I am making a pillowcase with Viking designs at the moment.

Oooh viking embroidery! any chance you'd be willing to post a picture when it's done? I'd love to see it! Sadly, I do not have any fluffy socks. It is usually too warm here for socks at all, much less the fluffy variety. I am fluff deprived.
