I was hesitating if i should make a new thread for this purpose, but after all i decided to do so, because many might want to add something here. This forum is very special to me, and i think also to many others here. It is a place i met many friends, learned a lot and can express things and ask questions that i would not so easily do elsewhere. In the 3 years i am here now, i have seen many friendships grow, many people got support in bad circumstances, even up to real help. Many shared their happiness, curiosity, joy, but also anger, sadness and such. Apart from the cool and informative Korpiklaani part, the threads go from political discussions and idealistic matters to personal feelings; from fun to deeply serious, sometimes even quite scientific expositions. Of course we are all bound by the love for Korpiklaani, but on this forum things aren't just restricted to that. The atmosphere here is extraordinary imo. This is a very lively forum, i see so many forums that die for reasons that are hard to tell. I am not sure what makes this forum so different from others, maybe it is just the kind of people that like/love Korpiklaani This forum feels like one big family... or should i say Klaani (clan)?! ;D Long live the Korpiklaani klaani!

Yes, this "klaani" is great, I´m here since september, when I found this forum I wasn´t sure about it, but when I started to read the messages, the way and the feeling of your words I have no doubt and here I am, I found REALLY GOOD FRIENDS HERE . It´s a pity that my english is not good (I´m always with my dear dictionary hehe) because I could write more things, now, I can´t find a word that means all that I feell about this wonderfull place ;D

The spirit's really something extraordinary here. I don't even think the Klaani-discussion is the main point here anymore, it's just wanting to bring people together, who like the same kind of music -> create some relationships and discussion around every imaginable topic (incl. of course the threads about Korpiklaani also). One big reason, which I think has helped creating this board, is the average age of the people writing/reading. And not particularly the literal age, more like the "mental" age. I might be one of the youngest here (turning 17 late this year), but I don't see it as an obstacle or anything, everyone has accepted all of the new ones. I haven't been writing for too much time for now, but I think I'll continue filling this board with nonsense shit still for a whole lot of time ;D.

I'm part of this forum for at least two years now. I've seen Korpiklaani growing, their first gig in de Goudvishal (RIP) in 2005 had a huge impact on me. If not, it was the best gig I ever experienced in my life as a music lover. I've seen this forum growing, more and more fans announced their love for Korpiklaani in this forum. If I didn't joined this forum, I never would get to know Rutger (aka Lionheart) and Claudia in real life. Also, my respect for the mod's & ad's who manage it to keep the many posts, that are made everyday by very much people, on topic. Love u guys!

I'm here few weeks and feel very good. It's interesting to read what other fans to experience, think and feel. I found in the short time wonderful friends and it's always interesting to read old entries. I was once a member of another band. But it was like a kindergarten and there were only disputes and everybody wanted to be right. Here it's wonderful familiar. And I think the band can be proud of their nice fans. The best fans! ;D And a special thanks to Jonne for fast answers. I love this forum!

I'm totally agree with you Humppaporo. I'm here for 4 years. I sometimes write message, when I have the times. And I think this forum is the best then I seen. There is a good atmosphere, we speak about everything (serious and fun), I have discovered new groupe (Poropetra and Nostatus principally). And I learn a lot about people, opinion, view...
I like a lot this forum, korpiklaani, and fan on this forum. Thanks a lot !
I think too, we are a klaani!
And as you said : "Long live the Korpiklaani klaani!"

Well,it's all true what you wrote.I just would like to put some more thoughts to them. Korpiklaani is represent something what's very rare in this hypocritical,greedy,"tread-on-everybody" 21th century, where is only counts how rich or beautiful are you. They play very happy music and they are all quite friendly. It seems that they appreciate and consider important their fans, they care with us(especially Jonne). Those who love and understand this mentality hand it down through the forum. This make it so unique. Do you agree?

Also @ Rempi: Yes, I think it's absolutely true that Korpiklaani embodies something that isn't really present in the outside world of today, like being true to yourself, being free and respecting one another for reasons other than shallow ones. That should have its effect on the forum Sorry if that made me sound like a hippie But, erm, in short: I agree

May be this was the spirit of the forum, that brought me back after a year absence. I was very pleasantly surprised, my account was "alive". I'd never stop thinking about this forum and that I'd return.
It's a very good place. I'm glad to say "Hallo" again. I see old nicks and many new people. The clan is growing. ;D

In my like 2 years on this forum, I had times I came here three times a day, and times I came here once a month. I really think i should have a look more often here. But yeah, this forum has a very special ambiance. Everybody talks about everything, and our only direct bonding is being korpiklaani fan. Extraordinary
