I finally ordered a new cell phone battery. Mine will only hold a charge for about ten minutes if I am on the phone. I've had the thing since 2004 but don't look forward to trying to figure out how to work a new phone.
Today, I bought bread and chocolate, since I was out of both!

The most recent things I bought were some fruits, a bar of chocolate, some lemonade and a pack of cigarettes at a grocery store in Tapanila. Since I don't smoke the cigarettes were for a friend of mine that waited outside the shop because she needed to smoke but came in the moment when I was just about to pay. Gave her the pack of cigarettes right away, which then looked as if I had bought them for an underaged

My latest purchases in an actual shop were a frying pan, one of those kind of plastic things for putting cutlery into them and three litres of juice. However, within the only half an hour I really spent in front of this computer today a friend of mine managed to sell me her washing machine, a desk, a mirror and a lamp.
Got to see on Sunday which elementary things are gone when my flatmate has moved out and what I need to get for this flat still. Probably the first thing I'm going to buy on Monday are curtains, or else it will be quite hard to sleep at any time here.

I got two CDs: One by Circulus and one by Faith and the Muse. I'll also buy tickets for a Hanzel und Gretyl concert - they come to town next month. I hope I'll remember!
I also got a leather pouch for my medieval clothing kit. It matches my pointy shoes.

I bought new tights in a few different colors. I finally found a place where I can get them in bright solid colors (purple, blue, etc.) instead of the usual black, tan, or white. Wheee! The other thing was a cat brush, since it seems to be prime shedding season. Four cats plus a cement floor plus a studio apartment equals dust bunnies the size of an overfed chihuahua.

Aiptek media tablet 14000U - A Drawing tablet for computer because I want to create a lot of drawn stuff for animations, comics etc. Yeah yeah, I know someone's going to say I should have gone for Wacom, but I say that I paid six times less than a Wacom of this size would have cost, plus this is almost as good in quality and somewhat equal in what comes to usability. This one doesn't recognize the tilting of the pen but I guess I'll manage ;D
Then to the discount sale menace:
The Sisters Of Mercy - Floodland & First and last always - I just fell in love with this band the other day (I know I keep saying this a lot...), but this time it really hit me hard. I found these two albums in a discount sale and damn they are awesome!
Scissor Sisters - Ta-Dah 2cd box - Now this was ridiculously cheap, just a few euros. I had only heard the hit song "I don't feel like dancing" and I got just what I was expecting: An album full of groovy and merry modern pop music! This is how it all should be, to hell with Britneys and Timberlakes and their two penny sampled songs.
Heavenly - Coming from the sky - For 2 euros you'll buy somewhat anything. I thought this would be atleast nostalgic since I had this album when I was sixteen but damn, this is just terrible! Next.
Mötley Crüe - Girls Girls Girls - The title song is great but unfortunately rest of the songs are pretty boring. I'll give this a few more chances but I guess this album has already given all that it has. Now, Dr. Feelgood can't be a disappointment so I must get it next.
Blackmore's Night - Village lanterne - I haven't yet been in the right mood of listening to this because of the sudden gothic and pop invasion in my head. The ghost of a rose was damn great album so I have high hopes on this one, but this kind of music definetly needs the right mood to work.
And as the sugar on the bottom: Matti Nykänen - Samurai - All hail the 2e basket at the sale! For the foreigners: yes, it IS the legenrady ski jumper singing ;D The album itself is from the early 90's and it's humour value is certainly worth of every single cent I paid for it. There's actually few pretty catchy and groovy songs, but it's still like the worst 80's movies: you only like them because of the cheesiness.
Today I also bought some boar meat which is, as strange as it sounds, cheaper than fresh beef filet nowadays. I'm not much of a steak maker but it turned out pretty well, I must get it sometime in a restaurant or somewhere where a professional cooks it.

@nordis: Sisters of Mercy are worthy! Yesterday I bought two physiotherapist appointments. The first one made me worse and the second one tried to fix what was wrong with me, and the damage by the first one. I also bought lots of pain medication, but I don't think its working.

Behexen - By The Blessing Of Satan I like the vocals and the raw, almost too (but not quite) "sharp" sounds. ...But the band photos made me smile. Don't know if that was their intention ;D. Marduk - Obedience EP and Opus Nocturne Good albums, especially Obedience has some catchy songs on it. If you can call a bm-song catchy Taake - Nattestid A piece of art, I like it. The only minuses are the lyrics written in runes and the unnamed songs. Of course the runes look incrediebly cool but no-one can get anything out of the booklet. Oh yeah, and those fingernails... Hrrr. A denim jacket for 4 euros and some black dye to go with it. I'd been looking for a black denim jacket for a while now and the only one I found was over-priced and too big so I had to take plan B in action. And as soon as I walked into a second-hand store I found at least 4 different options so that I even had the problem of choosing between those. Let's hope that the dye-process also works.

I was planning to buy a ceiling lamp, some kind of a blanket and some sandpaper today. I ended up buying the sandpaper, some underwear, some food, some beer and a new hut for my guinea pigs. Oh well, quite close
