Did you look in the promo pic section of the official site? There are many great pics of the band, like this made by Toni Härkönen.

Dutch review on the gig in TilburgThis is what it says: Thronar First Thronar, from Arnhem, muscled, long-haired men who are going to fight in blackmetal-rooted viking metal. i all sounds quite 'Forward, March!', but the band doesnot seem to be able to choose between the though monotone of for example Falkenback en the bombast of melodic metal. This makes the music a bit monotone some times. But the basics are good: catching melodies which attracts the audience, cool musicians, though apperance en good sound. Except the keyboard, who is a bit late at the time. Bit more pointy, better swing and dynamic difference and victory is near! Korpiklaani Korpiklaani does have the dancability and stagejoy, like the end of Thronar's battles being celebrates and feasted in an ambient forest. In Germany they are very popular already, here (in Holland) the only gig in in a small room. That is not a reason for not coming on stage smiling. Because the filled room is already dancing and jumping with the intro from a tape. The accordeon is being draped around the neck, violin is being thightened between cheek and shoulder and chieftain Jonne Järvelä chooses his place behind his microphoned antlers. The enthousiasm the are confronted with works catching and the band starts with good fighting spirit. The scene can be described best as the violinviolence of Flogging Molly, the folk and accordeon (yes, a real one) of Finntroll and the vocals and beer- and partyjoy of the German Tom Angelripper. Especially the song 'Journey Man', sounds quite inspired by Angelripper. From the first row to the deepest corner there is dancing, moshpitting, headbanging, jumping and siniging. And often mixed up. Imagine how this would look on the bigger (metal)festivals on which the band already played. The avoiding of beershowers, especially at the song 'Beer Beer', would be impossible at those events. Korpiklaani is not about battle, but clearly it is about being deep in the forest with campfires, where big pints of beer are the main thing. A feast actually where nature is well sung, proofed by songs as 'Spirit of the Forest', where Jonne Järvelä starts as a meditating indian, and titles as 'Pine Woods' and 'Field in Flames'. It makes all that the gig is ambient and thight at the same time. As true vikings, Korpiklaani keeps the Finnish flag in honour as the better heavy metal.
