Hmmm... hard to say... Ali Jäisten Vetten (Korven Kuningas) - When I heard this one for the first time I was walking on some street and then suddenly I really felt to dance. It has really nice melody and rhythm in chorus, imo. It's my most favorite from Korven Kuningas Hunting Song (Voice Of Wilderness) - Live version of this song is just amazing, it is always great when everybody is singing the part "ajajaja" ;D it's very wild song i think Kädet Siipinä (Voice Of Wilderness) - I like the music video very much, I think this song is a bit different. More "shamaniac". And it's in finnish what is a plus Palovana (Tervaskanto) - I don't know why, but when I was on Korpi gig for the first time, this song is the first I remember when is something speaking about this gig. I don't know why. Maybe I also feel the fire inside of me? Pellonpekko (Spirit Of The Forest) - It's such a happy song. I really love the violin in this one. Great job, Hittavainen ;D Tuli Kokko (Tales Along This Road) - something like Kädet Siipinä. Calm finnish song. I like the lyrics and the yoiking. I always imagine an eagle flying above beautiful finnish nature Under The Sun (Tales Along This Road) - this song is so catchy, imo. Everytime when I'm listening to it I must then walk and sing "You're the one, under the sun" (sometimes I look very strange, but I don't care ;D ) And the beginning with acoustic guitar is great Viima (Tervaskanto) - My most favorite from Tervaskanto. The lyrics (or rather the sound of lyrics) suit very well with the melody. Happy Little Boozer (Tales Along This Road) - I can hear it for 1000 times and still I can listen to it again. The "innocent" beginning and then very wild song. I think this one is the most exhausting on gigs ;D Wooden Pints (Spirit Of The Forest) - I think maybe a legendary song. The music video is kinda funny, the guitar has a touch of Shaman times, I think. Violin solo is great as well but it's different every day... EDIT: comments added

Let me remind once again that in listing topics you should always tell us why some songs are better than others. There's no point in empty listing. Shouldn't be a new thing in this forum..

Hard question !
1- Wooden Pints 2- Journey Man 3- Spirit of the forest 4- Tuli Kokko 5- Korpiklaani 6- Kirki 7- Vesilahden Veräjillä 8- Karhunkaatolaulu 9- Syntykoski syömmehessäin 10- Paljon on koskessa kiviä
This list is almost different everyday.
I only chose songs about Korpiklaani, this list would be different if I had chosen songs about Shaman Albums.
I chose some songs because there are Yoik song, I like to hear Jonne yoik. Other songs was chosen because I like them better than others, the melodies always remain in my head.

1. Tuli Kokko - Tales Along This Road 2. Pine Woods - Voice of Wilderness 3. Spirit of the Forest - Voice of Wilderness 4. Wooden Pints - Spirit of the Forest 5. Korpiklaani - Tales Along This Road 6. Pellonpekko - Spirit of the Forest 7. Metsämies - Korven Kuningas 8. Tervaskanto - Tervaskanto 9. With Trees - Spirit of the Forest 10. Journey Man - Voice of Wilderness
Tuli Kokko is my favorite because yoiking + bagpipes + drums + recorder solo = amazing. The others I chose because they either have really really great lyrics/yoiking, or because the music is either very catchy or atmospheric. I personally like the early stuff the best, especially from the Shaman days.

Please, people! There isn't any point in empty listing without comments. As in other listing topics in this board, you should give us a few words, why[/u] some songs are in your top ten. It shouldn't be so difficult to anyone.

First three are in order, or so. Rest 7 are in undefined order. Added also a Shaman song but it's simply so good! If it's not allowed, something like Journey Man could replace it. 1. Under the Sun (Tales Along This Road) 2. Kädet siipinä (Voice of the Wilderness) 3. Spring Dance (Tales Along This Road) Native Land (Voice of the Wilderness) Before the Morning Sun (Spirit of the Forest) Happy Little Boozer (Tales Along This Road) Metsämies (Korven kuningas) Ii lea voibmi (Shamániac) Palovana (Tervaskanto) Vesilahden veräjillä (Tervaskanto) Oh yeah, and the comments. I simply love Under the Sun (and it bugs me it's sung differently from the lyrics in the booklet, can't sing it along )... It has some personal meaning to me, and it's very good musically and lyrically. Kädet siipinä is also astoundishing. It's a really peaceful song, and the atmosphere is amazing. Not that something would be wrong with the other songs, mutta vaihtelu virkistää . Anyway, great song. Spring Dance. I'll probably use this word again a few times when commenting the rest of the songs too, but here it comes: very energetic. Makes me move my legs and arms and head unintentionally... Very nice instrumental. Native Land. It's also atmospheric... And the lyrics are nice. I like the melodies very much. Before the Morning Sun. Nice combination. Quite rocking start and then very folkish stuff. Nice lyrics and also the atmosphere... Song title is very good. Happy Little Boozer is fun. Not funny, but fun. And again very energetic and nice song and atmosphere... So undepressive. Metsämies... When I first read/listened to the lyrics I was like wow... They're a very big part why I like it... It's so nice. Musically it's not as special as lyrically. Ii lea voibmi: the guitars, the start.. The melodies. The vocals... It's just so energetic. Very good song, and I even hear the melodies qutie often in my mind on their own. Palovana is quite many-sided song... That's good about it. Also the lyrics are very nice... I like that kind of stuff. Vesilahden veräjillä... Well, epic! What else can I say? There... I picked the songs quite quickly... There's so much to pick from. And yeah, in case the Shaman song doesn't count, I said something about replacing it with Journey Man. Well... Freedom is always nice, and it's also a happy song... Nice one to listen. (Btw, although I like the happy songs, I mostly listen to depressive music like (funeral) doom metal, black metal and gothic metal. I'm weird.)

Uhhh... I like very much most of 'klaani songs, but these I listen often than the rest (order undefined): Happy Little Boozer - Fast; impulsive, melodic and making happy. Tapporauta - Fast; great guitars, idea of lyric match with melody. I like to listen this when I'm annoyed xD Vocal is very good too. Ii Lea Voibmi - ohhh... so insane! When listen this, I like to close eyes and imagine, that I'm in the frozen Lapland... Amazing yoik. Amazing language. Makes me feel atmosphere of the Land of Ice And Snow... And the idea of lyric: simple and great! Gods on Fire - Lyrics; guitars; melody... Melancholy, and great song. I like sometimes to listen something peaceful, slow, depressive, especially when it's raining. And GoF are great for that. Shall we take a turn - My favourite instrumental tune. Great violin and accordion. It's a little happy, and few moments later a little sad. Wooden Pints - Absolutly excellent violin and melody! And the story of these little men... Good song. Under the Sun - So hopeful. And this great atmosphere... Before the Mornigng Sun - Begining isn't as nice as rest. But this song is so... mysterious! The melody let me imagine those dancing Elfgrils... Nordic feast - Fun tune. I like the bass here. Makes me smile. But this smile doesn't mean: 'Ow, funny song!'. It means: 'all problems got away! Cottages and Saunas - a little war song. Mad vocal and melody. And I like them

A tough one, but, at least picking 10 songs might be easier than picking 1 song... My choices are definitely very heavily skewed toward the first album - not because I like the songs in the later albums any less, but because the first one is what made the initial burning impression on me, therefore I will always have a bias for those songs! So, not in any order: 1. Wooden Pints (Spirit of the Forest) - very catchy, great melody, headbang-inducing, perfect drinking song, what more could one ask for? 2. God of Wind (Spirit of the Forest) - I remember, when I was first listening to this album maybe the 2nd or 3rd time through, in my headphones... it was this song that made me suddenly jump up and think "OMFG this music is so ASTOUNDING..." 3. With Trees (Spirit of the Forest) - very emotional, and there is this great depth to the audio quality here that makes it sound as if it's being played from the bottom of a huge canyon... 4. Pixies Dance + Juokse Sinä Humma (Spirit of the Forest) - heheh yeah okay that's 2 songs, so maybe I'm cheating a little, but IMO these 2 sound best listened to together, since the one flows so nicely into the next. I just think the melody and musicianship here is out of this world. 5. Shaman Drum (Spirit of the Forest) - Love Jonne's vocals and Joiking here, and the chugging rhythm of the whole thing... 6. Cottages & Saunas (Voice of Wilderness) - I love cottages... I love saunas... I love this song... the spirit of it... 7. Spirit of the Forest (Voice of Wilderness) - Great Joiking again here, and the bouncy rhythm, the melody changes, everything. 8. Tuli Kokko (Tales Along This Road) - My favorite on this album, absolutely hypnotizing. Those awesome chugging guitars. The slow, hypnotic rhythm. And Jonne's voice sounds especially gravelly and wonderful here. 9. Vesilahden Veräjillä (Tervaskanto) - This one, also, sounds very hypnotic to me. I think if I loop this it could put me into a trance! 10. Shall We Take a Turn? (Korven Kuningas) - This is the one that caught my ear first, on my first listen of this album. Great bouncing melody+rhythm, makes me want to jump around and dance

Errrm, it's too hard to choose only 10 songs, and it's hard to think while my neighbour is drilling... (ya know, if you live in a flat, there's always a neighbour that drills or hammer-pounds all day long) OK, I'll try to choose only 2 songs from every album... Spirit Of the Forest: Wooden Pints. Of course. When I went to KK gig, I was a little bit annoyed of everything, but when Klaani got on stage and began to play "Wooden Pints" - I went to the mosphit and forgot everything else... The other will be Crows Bring The Spring. A rhytmical head-banging theme, and a flute-guitar dialogue. I was in the subway while listening to this - and it became my fave in a moment. Voice Of Wilderness: Journey Man. Fast slamming song, and a great text. In the future, when I'll become much older, and open my own bar - I'll then travel along Russia, with a rucksack. It's certain. Pine Woods. A beautiful uprising flute melody. When I hear it, I raise my hands up and hail the Gods, thanking for my great life. Tales Along This Road: Vakirauta. The first KK song I've heard, while listening to the radio. It was a great idea to scream "Veti miekan, riisti rauan..." on the back-vocals. Rise. The text, of course! "Please come in and meet our Gods, This is not your day ". And the music - actually, my favourite part is after the refrain: a cathcy melody and the drums banging. While listening to this, I dream to be in the middle of the pit and roll my hands around me - it may cause an injury, but who cares? Tervaskanto: Tervaskanto It's only a great song. Hope that I'll see, know and master all things while getting old, as Tervaskanto does Misty Fields. I don't know why... Really don't know. But I like this song very much. Korven Kuningas: Paljon On Koskessa Kivia. A perfect melody, perkele. Gods On Fire. And this is my fave because of its text.
