Sometimes people loose things that are very important or dear to them, or find things that amazes them. For these, this topic is meant. Please tell as much as you can, that makes it interesting for everyone FOUND I found to my surprise some unknown underwear and cloth in the laundry. I found a black male G-string from a good brand, some jeans and a pair of sportsocks. They might not be from the same person, because the socks I have seen before and did not know who’s they were. The strange thing is that all the guests we have had, aren’t wearing such things, it isn’t their size, or they are not missing anything as far as they know. So, we are still ‘breaking our head’ about who those things can be of. Cloth does not walk, so… where on earth are they coming from??? I can think of many funny stories about these cloth, but none seems to match reality… ;D LOST On the Härmälä camping in Tampere I lost my Shaman ear-pendant this summer. I looked everywhere and could not find it again. Hate to loose it, that will be clear without further explanation. I do not understand how, because I always checked one hundred times if I still had it. I loose things very often, because I just forget where I put them, but usually I find them back after a lot of time spending looking for it; or with help from others. Did you loose or find something surprisingly?

Nice topic. FOUND I didn't find it but my dad did. A pair of pliers in a forest in Sweden. Later he gave it to me because he didn't need it. LOST I lost a lots of clothes in washing machines already (sometimes I wonder if some people lose it and those clothes appear in someone else's washing machine and that's those people that wonder where all them unknown clothes come from ) but nothing that was particularly important to me. Last autumn the pair of black gloves I usually wore suddenly disappeared from the wardrobe, and also I don't know where my old history book has vanished. I was pretty sure I had it in my parents' attic but it's absolutely nowhere to be found. Not that it'd be such a loss to lose a history school book but it had some funny comics I had drawn on the first pages which I wanted to post on another forum and I was just disappointed that I couldn't find them anymore then. Then I lost the grey elk a friend of mine gave me as a present a few years ago. I had it attached to my backpack and one day I noticed that it wasn't there anymore. I asked the tram company and at the university if someone had found it but no-one had, and of course it's no use searching for something you lost in Cologne. It was a pity, the elk wasn't a beauty but it just had some personal value for me.

Yes nice and interesting topic.
Found : It was very long time, I have found a wedding ring on the sea. It was in mediterranean sea, in France. I swam and saw the little fish near the beach. Then I saw a circle shine on the sand. I took it and it was a wedding ring. I gave to my parent. Now I don't know what they did with it.
Lost : I have lost my camera in the concert of Therion in Paris last year. It was a present from my ex boyfriend therefore the probleme is not the thing, the camera, but it had a sentimental value.

Hmmmmm, interesting...
I don't remmeber nothing that I've found so far... thoughn sure there's something.
About loosing somehting, right now I remember one book I lost, which made me very upset; not because the book had any meaning for me but because it was in the middle of the term in which I needed it, because I had just bought it a week before and because up to that moment I had found it very interesting; it was about linguistic change, and I remember that I was enjoying the book because of the style in which it was written; out of being erudite it was written in a mocking way, with examples which were sometimes surrealistic but that somehow you needed not to read twice to memorize.
It was a pity I didn't read it completely, but at least I passed the course without many problems... in fact with no problem at all since I used my ex gf (girlfriend at that moment) classnotes.

I've lost my dear turtle in the beginning of summer.Or not lost, somebody base, dirty asshole stole!!!And never found.... I read this yesterday morning and said to my fiance, "I bet this happens to us sooner or later." As it turns out, the turtle I've had as a pet for the past eight years went missing that afternoon. I've posted a few fliers around our street, but we haven't found her, and I don't think we will.

Found: Some old Halloween decorations that totaly kick ass! Eyeballs, toungs, severed hands and a few bloody skulls. All fake of course.

Lost: the perfect bagel cutting knife mysteriously went missing in 2002.
Found: One potato on a newspaper box outside of my old workplace many years ago. Every few years since then, I will find potatoes in public in the weirdest places. Or maybe I just notice them now.
Regarding laundry, I firmly believe that odd socks turn into wire coat hangers that tangle in the closet when you are in a hurry and need to just get one hanger. When you need a hanger, they turn to odd socks again. Sometimes, the interdimensional wormhole through which these objects travel has a glitch and gives us someone else's clothing. I suspect my kitchen is involved in this.
I have yet to figure out where plastic lids for the kitchen go. I have 10 containers and 9 lids. Only 4 of the lids fit any of the containers.

Found lots of things at festivals, like finger rings etc. I always posted a thread into the festival forum then to let the one know, who lost it. For one silver ring no one replied, so I gave it to someone of my family as a present.
Lost/forgot a whole rucksack (with lots of things like sleeping bag) in a train when I was about 20. Since then I am a lot more careful.

Lost: My favorite tobacco pipe, which was a gift from a very good friend and served me well over many years. Lat time I used it was in December, then it mysteriously and inexplicably vanished. Of course, it's not hard to find another one of the same brand, but it will never feel the same. Found: My old favorite denim jacket that I was sure by now was lost forever. Joy! gods know it's hard to find a decent denim jacket in smaller sizes that doesn't fall in the caterogy of bullshit glittery girly shit. Now I can put some more metal patches all over it

LOST A red-amber pendant and earrings - I don't know where are they, I can't find them and I regret, because I liked them very much. Hand-written instructions for playing samba-canasta (a card-game), though I found other in a book and also in the net - but different versions.
FOUND As I read here about Finnish books I remembered that my father had "Sinuhe Egyptilainen" by Mika Waltari. I ask him about it, but he couldn't find the book. Today we visited my parents for Easter and the book was found.

I suddenly realize something odd that happened a few years ago. One of the kids took Nightwish's Wishmaster to school, to listen it during the art class, since the school had a very good music installation.
My son forgot to take it with him again, he only took the empty case. It was some holiday. After the holiday he went back to that classroom and took the cd from the player and put it in the case. One day later his teacher came to him and said: 'You forgot to take your cd before the holidays, so i kept it for you, i only could not find the case.' He looked at her totally stunned, so he told me. She gave him a Wishmaster cd. So now he has two, he never managed to find out to who the other one belongs.
