I`ll miss the gig in Bochum tonight I wanted to visit Too much stress and too far away. They really should come to Hamburg again.I hope it`s not their last tour together with Falchion (nothing against the other bands but as Matson and Juho play in both bands it would be something special for me to see both on the same tour) Have a great gig tonight, guys, see you next year!

You can see both of them at Ragnarök Festival in Lichtenfels on the 17th of April next year I don't know if there will be any other gigs closer to Hamburg at that time. I made a mistake when I first wrote it is in March.

Seen yesterday the Finnish Fire gig in Bochum, for the first time. I can just say it very short: I am totally blown away again! I saw Falchion live for the first time and was looking forward to it very much. In short: their music stands like a rock. Everything was balanced, while many Death metal becomes one big dark clump of noise, here you could hear the separate instruments very clearly and especially the brilliant solo-ing of the lead guitarist - Yep the same Juho we know as excellent accordion player also! It was a pleasant surprise to hear the songs live now, and to notice that they play as solid and skillful as on their cd. Also a nice sursprise was the lively stage act from the bass-player Janne. Then i jump directly to Korpiklaani: When i saw them here in Bochum i felt more than ever why i love this band so much. After over 25 or more concerts you should say that i must be quite used to their performance, but still. This was true Finnish Fire. The more or less enthusiast audience was a little bored while waiting. They just stood around. From the first moment that Korpiklaani put a foot on stage, the fat was in the fire, the audience went mad! I have seen it happen many times, though never so suddenly and strongly, like a fire blast! To me this band is still absolutely the best live band ever. Yesterdays performance also included a few of my very favorite songs (lucky me!), like Kipumylly, Tulikokkko, Orbina, and of course Viima. I heard them all live before, but from good things you never get enough. Looking forward to see them in Amnsterdam for the second (and last ) time, would have loved to see at least 3 evenings in a row... or more. *now back to work, if i find the time i will post some pics of Falchion and Korpiklaani, but it will take a while.

I think I read it somewhere before but I forgot it...I must see if I can go there but it`s got to know this possibility. Looking forward to see them in Amnsterdam for the second (and last ) time, would have loved to see at least 3 evenings in a row... or more. No offence to you but I think you have many reasons to be thankful and what you wrote is IMHO a bit awkward related to the many fans who have not so much luck with Korpiklaani-gigs.You know concretely about two forummembers who missed the tour (it was Ingrid if I`m right) and there are enough other fans who missed it as well. And I don`t want to talk only about this tour. There are many fans who are still waiting for KK because they didn`t play in their country yet,who have no money for a concert or whatever. There are many reasons. So I think we should see what we have-yes,this appplies also for me and I try to be aware of all this great things I had and still have with KK and this helps me in -related to KK-bad situations. I may sound a bit morally but it`s my honest feeling.

Saw The Finnish Fire Tour yesterday in Glasgow. Faaaantastic!!! Still smiling If I wasn't such a shy cow I would have gone over and said hi- seeing how I bumped into Kalle and Jarkko a couple of times We dried up the venue though! Beer ran out just after Korpiklaani hit the stage... Such amateurs behind the bar. They should have foreseen that!

^ I noticed! Annoying that they didn't have the other bar open so it took so long to get served. Fortunately I was more concerned with keeping my place at the front than beer, so I'll do my drinking in London tonite! ;D

Because with songs named Beer Beer, Wooden Pints and Let's drink, what can you expect? People to order a bacardi breezer??? Anyhow, it wasn't that busy in Glasgow, so probably you would have had your place with a bit of elbow work. Or get a slave for gigs to get your beer for you.

Unfortunately I was on my own at Glasgow, but I did bring one to London. Even got him to hold it for me while I was taking photos at one point! ;D

I hd been looking forward to hanging out drinking afterwards. Oh well, it wasn't even close to enough to ruin the night. The guys in the band seemed much happier to be here than last time they played. Probably the most fun I've had since summer, and well worth taking a day off work for.

give us a shout if you spot me then, I also have a big beard Unfortunately I only went to the one gig. No time or money with the run up to Xmas to follow a bunch of Finnish lads around the UK. I will keep my eyes peeled for you next time. Big beard and drinking horn full of beer= man after my heart.

Hah yeah, found it also pretty fascinating how they threw out everyone all of a sudden with the words "The fun is over!" at that venue in Glasgow Didn't think it was possible but it clearly beat even Teatria in that. So I came back from the Glasgow-Manchester-London trip this morning. A pity that the setlists couldn't be rotated anymore at the gigs but I was really glad to hear "Crows bring the spring" live, which I hadn't before. Especially in Glasgow that gave me a very good moment. Actually can't say much about Falchion, Ballelore and Kivimestan Druidi as I mostly missed them for one reason or the other or just wanted to see something of the city as I was already there.
