Well yeah. Turisas are brilliant, but no match for korpiklaani It would Have to go Ensiferum then Turisas and the Korpiklaani as the headliner to finnish the night off and the healiner always plays the longest

The band was much better 2 years ago. Nowadays on stage it´s like they are doing their duty, but not having fun... at least that what it looks like. But exchange Ensiferum to Equilibrium, and I´ll be fine with it: Equilibrium, Turisas, Korpiklaani! What a great live evening!!! Should we rename that thread into "discussions about your favourite live bands"?

About fav live bands... Some weeks ago is saw Primordial again, and it totaly blowed me away...Alan sang the Dark Song for the first time on stage, and he had to stop, because of the crying... it was astounding evening indeed. The band was followed by Moonsorrow, but they had no chance to match Primo. Amazing concert, and a great memory...
and yeah, the thread SHOULD be named to "discussions about your favourite live bands"...

Seems like you haven't been at their gig in Siegen No, I haven´t. But I´m glad to hear that there are some gigs where they seem to still show action on stage (except that woman of course, she`s always gorgeous). Alan sang the Dark Song for the first time on stage, and he had to stop, because of the crying... Oh damn! I so wish I would have seen that! I can totally imagine it! Primordial are so breathtaking (or at least Alan and the way he lives his songs on stage). Also I like the celtic war-paint they use lately... showing their roots. Great. My favourite song of Primordial still is " The gathering wilderness". When the song is played live, I`m always like in trance, I enjoy the intensity of the song so much.

... and the Solitary Mourner...wich i dont wana see, live, cuz i think Alan wold actually die, while singin it That`s possible! He really is a true heartful singer... he really enriches the music szene. I´m thinking about buying the old Primordial albums in Ebay, could be worth it.

I love In Extremo. I've been to their gig here and it simply kicked ass. Just listen to the beginning of "Raue See" and you can imagine the effect it has on the audience when it is dark and there are simply the leading drums. Suddenly the guitars and bagpipes start playing and you simply enjoy the great composition.

teuton, i fully agree with you. I saw In extremo live last april and it was amazing! They even made a fire show in a rather small club so the fire flied to the ceiling. I was frightened that it can burn!

If you go away from Metal, my favourites where I was very impressed, were Nick Cave and the bad seeds, far far away good old New Model Army, Apocalyptica, Sepultura in the late 80s, Korpiklaani of course, Pantheon Rococo (Tropipunk-Ska, great show). Sure I did forgot someone or two
