We've been to the gig in Lahti and was just great time. I have a long list with what I appreciated there, and first was the company , then the gig itself and the performance of the band...and the dance, headbanging, singing....there's a lot still to say I think, but for now, just had to say a ''two words'' thing.

We've been to the gig in Lahti and was just great time. Indeed. Last time I travelled 15000 km to see Korpiklaani; this time even further, about 20,000, five international flights, who knows how many hours of travel. And dammit it was so worth it to see the guys on home soil. I didn't understand a word which was said by Jonne during the gig and especially at the end but it hardly mattered. Highlights: Meeting the Pink Panther , Jarkko's impassively impressive stage presence, Socke bursting from the moshpit like a cannonball to grab Tiina and dance a jig with her during Kipumylly, Jonne playing mandolin(?), and the best of all - Jonne ripping it up on lead guitar during Pine Woods, something we don't see or hear very often from him these days, but the man sure can play. And I now have #290 of the limited edition Ukon Wacka, and a shaman pendant for my daughter Kiitoksia paljon Korpiklaani!!!

My sister was kind of in a hurry, so we left right after I had tried to smoke my cigars that had dried so badly that they just crumbled. It was great to meet you guys as well the tiny boozers from Vantaa I totally missed the whole merchandise stand, wouldn't have minded getting the limited edition box and Shaman pendant as well. I was also wondering who the extra guitarist was, how rude to leave him without introduction!

No wonder the pink rubber pig was exhausted the whole Sunday and hardly made a sound anymore.

Socke: you are getting old my dear ;D I never heard you complaining before about the length of a gig... they always used to be too short for you... when you were young

I hope you did not miss the smith Tervarauta with his wife who were also there. He has made those pendants. seppatervarauta.com/seppatervarauta.com/pronssi.htmlWe were really happily surprised to meet them there! And of course same goes with Nordis and all the fellows too that we had too little time to chat with!

I've seen his pics before and should have recognised him but no... shame. It's not the first of his stuff I have bought We could not miss you, of course ;D. I think everyone at the gig recognised you in your vest. Even Jonne

Well, I'd have loved to hear Jonne singing more of the words, but ''para bailar la Bamba se necesita una poquita de gracia''. ;D ;D Ok, something for Korpiklaani guys from us. :
