Great pictures, I say it again and I am thankful for having them too, thanks to you! Am glad for you guys, you deserve to have a KK gig anytime there. I rarely saw an enthusiastic crowd as bulgarian one. Check Jarkko's blog, I liked he wrote too about the public there. That says something.

Well... it's not good to use built-in flash for concert pics. You should try camera manual mode Often in Bulgaria guards are trying to forbid to shoot or to douse the camera. In this case flash makes you a good target.

I can't use manual mode while there is an army of crazy fans pushing me around, while I'm tring to stick to the first row. ;D Besides the guards have never said anything about my old camera. 8-)Otherwise,thanks for the advice.

Yo, I was at the Barcelona concert last night (21st Oct) in Salamanca club. Unbeliavable. I didn't know that spanish people can sing that well in Finnish. Pity my phone ran out of battery before I could shoot any nice pics.

The gig at The Relentless Garage 28th October in London was quite special for 2 reasons. The 1st reason was that they played for almost 2 hours as they were the only band that was playing, the second is that they played quite a few songs from the Spirit Of The Forest album as-well as some Shaman songs, which was like Orbina and I Le Voibmi.
I was pretty lucky to hang out with them before the gig and Jonne showed me his guitars and explained the new Mic stand concept. The venue soon flooded with fans when the doors opened and its such a good sight to see a full house for one of the bands you love, especially when they join in with the chanting.
Since I first started to like Korpiklaani back in 2004 I have noticed such a growth in them its amazing. From costume changes, guitar/bass changes, to how the songs are and the live presence they emit its quite phenomenal. I didn't get many live photos as the lighting made it difficult but I got a few from before the gig I shall load up soon \,,/

Agree with my brother above, wouldn't have met or anything if it wasn't for him! Thank you!

Always wanted to post something here after the Spain trip, which has already been over a month ago, but never actually got around to writing anything for some reason. But better late than never. So this time I went to the gigs in Barcelona, Navarra (or actually the place was called Villava) and Madrid. Some more of those places where I hadn't been to before, and after last year's Russia experience Spain and possibly some warmth seemed a lot more appealing to me. The day of the Barcelona gig was a pretty tiring day and I was already wondering why I always do this to myself but actually it only took until Eluveitie's gig that I remembered it again, it all was just like in a football stadium and really gave me goosebumps how people were singing along. Just as you would imagine it in the south. First it seemed to me that Eluveitie were more known there from what people I asked for the way to the venue were telling but actually I think both bands had great audiences on all three gigs. At least very different from the Metalheim gig in Oulu some weeks before that, where there were just a handful of people for some reason. To sum things up, even if I've seen them "often enough" as some people say, it's still totally fascinating for me to see how different audiences are in different countries, it's nice to meet familiar faces again, possibly get to know new people and just the whole experience of travelling and seeing new places makes it worth it. Of course the latter could be done also without Korpiklaani gigs but people who are bad at deciding on anything appreciate it a lot if there is just a page full of tour dates and destinations to pick from ;D

I for one am not one of those, actually I trully admire the fact that you travel , see them ''often" and also visit places. It's best travel plan! And you tick one more thing of ''to do in this life'' on these occassions. Haha, alright: if they provide a support too on deciding where to go with that list , then all you have to do is follow.

Socke: cool! I had no clue you went even to Spain to see them Nice to compare audiences.. I have only seen Dutch, Belgium, German and Finnish audiences, and they differ indeed. But not just from country to country, sometimes even from venue to venue.
