I wasn't ;D stood depending on situation 1-2nd row, but halfway during gig I pretty much gave up trying to take photos since I got squished into the barrier a lot. But if I had a decent/good camera I wouldn't mind being in the photopit and shooting sharp, on other hand every time you're in the crowd it's always an adventure and sometimes even a "survival of the fittest"

I have been in those rows many times. But sometimes you only can be grateful not to be there. At Wacken i have been crushed severely and also my camera was damaged. Nothing wrong with being in the crowd, as long as you can be safe.

a review in Aardschok magazine about Korpiklaani's gig on September 24th www.2shared.com/photo/0UnFjGbc/BOA_2011_in_Aardschok_-_klein.html?cau2=403tNullThere are some mistakes in the review like misspelling of Teemu's name and apparently Teemu got a sex change overnight because in the review they're speaking of him as a she (Someone didn't do their homework properly) Translated part about korpiklaani: The contrast with Korpiklaani is enormous, once the Finns are on stage it's done with the peace and quiet. To be expected of a (KK)gig after playing songs like Beer Beer Vodka and Tequila the festive atmosphere has broken loose. Not really ground breaking, the band as well as the audience repeating the same old tale with every Korpiklaani concert; The musicians are producing a polka, the swirling masses are dancing (on) it. The only new element during this show is the presence of violin player Teemu Eerola as replacement of Jaakko Lemmetty, but that doesn't change it fact that he has as little input as his predecessor. The Finns are putting on a good show but the feeling of deja-vu is clearly noticeable.

I saw Korpiklaani at Schlosshof-Festival yesterday. It was a pleasure as ever They played all alcohol songs and of course also some from "Manala". Excellent album by the way. I love it. I made some photos. Unfortunately they are not very good because I was not so close to the stage and the light was bad. Thanks for sharing pix... It's nice to see what and how the band looks at gigs one can't attend.
