OK! The invitation is also on the other way around! I mean, some day you have to come to Madrid and we have a troll party here, ok? ? That's nice cultural interchange, hehehe ;D Southern Troll: hangover on Monday? That's too bad, fellow! Drinking alcohol with sugar always makes things worse But it's true you don't notice all the alcohol you're putting in your belly. What I hate the most is being at work with hangover. That's why yesterday I didn't drink too much. Just 4 beers with my friends. I was a little fuzzy by night but knew everything would be ok today By the way, we have a serious problem with booze! nah, not that serious, I know. But there's a sector of good drinkers here. Maybe we should create a society called "The Wooden Pint Beer Club" or something

Maybe we should create a society called "The Wooden Pint Beer Club" or something Oh yeah!!!!! this would be a great name for the Korpiklaani's fan club!!!! well, I'm sorry I can't write lately so much as I'd like, but I'm having exams this month, and also have to go working... although my work it's very funny, I can take all day for doing an exam, the days I have exam, so what have I done? I've said I have twice the number of exams I have, so this month I only have to go to job 9 days . But antway I have exams and projects to hand, so I'm very busy. I should be studying right now. Well, about the iberian trollish party, it would be amazing. I haven't went to Portugal and it would be a great choice for me... and I'm afraid this summer I won't have holidays, so it would be fantastic an escapade of a weekend; and by car it must not be too much far away, so we could even go by car. So up the Iberian Trolls! We've got to talk in detail, ok? Go studying Bye!

The car trip is a bit long, but nothing extreme. I drove from Lisbon to Barcelona so!!!!! Lisbon-Madrid is nothing... 500 and something kilometres. Anyway, there are also trains avaiable.
Like I said, make the arrangements between yourselves and then tell me when you come.
And The Wooden Pint Beer Club sounds terrific!

Well, I'm afraid this summer I wont have holidays... have I said this before? hmmm yeah, I already said this yesterday, so well, I insist that it would be amazing, at least for me, to make a quick escapade to Lisbon, so I can say I've gone abroad. 500 kms its not so long, just five hours... and I supposse hotels are not so much expensive as in Spain, so we could book one bedroom; but I think it will be better if we do it after the Eurocup, don't you think? I'm sure that if Leitisdal and me ask our friend Agus to go with us, we will be there this summer! Time will tell, but thank you very much for your invitation Sethlad... by the way, have I said that this summer I wont have holidays ;D?

Yes... indeed, only after the Eurocup. Specially if Spain beats the crap out of Portugal (as I expect them to do... unfortunately) maybe you guys won't have that much of a welcome! hehehehehe just kiddin. I'll have one week of vacation this summer, don't know when yet, and I'll go to Gerez in the north of Portugal (Borders with Galicia), so I won't be here. (Of course) Any other weekend will, I think. There are some quite cheap hostels in Lisbon (cheap and crappy, but hey - it's for sleeping) but I'll do some research as well. But it won't be that expensive... I think. Though I must warn you, Summer isn't the best time to go out in Lisbon, because all the students are away on vacation or back to their home towns, so Lisbon get a little emptier in the Summer... mostly tourist and people, like me, who have to stay and work during the summer. But Bairro Alto always has great nightlife. After the Euro we'll talk this through...

Hehe... I hope Portugal beats Spain... That way people will feel compassive and will pay us some beers Thanks for the effort, Sethlad. Summer may not be the best time to visit Lisbon, but hey, it's ok, and there's no problem in arriving there on Friday and coming back on Sunday morning or so. That way we would take the weekend and there's no need to manage holidays in our jobs. I don't care if everybody's out on summer, I just want to meet you and your chaps, have lots of beer and seeing maybe a little of beautiful Lisbon. And for the sleep, it probably will be daylight when we finish partying, so, provided there are parks in Lisbon we can have a nap like drunkards... or in the car if we go by car Nah, it will be better to get a room... when does the Eurothing finnish?

The euro finishes on the 4th of July, methinks. Quite a lot of places to sleep in lisbon... parks and lawns and stuff. But I think a room would be more adequate, there are a lot of them and quite cheap. I hope... About going to madrid, maybe in September/October... in August it'll be hard. I always spend a lot of money in the summer... I wonder why! It certainly isn't the litres and litres of beer I drink...

You're right... I'm too old to sleep in public parks, and surely lots of rooms will be available. We'll talk about this by priv/messenger, to avoid boring the people. But think in how much people would come to Spain and how long It's going to be funny! ;D I make this extensible to everybody in the forum, if you wanna come here we could try to arrange things!

And today I wouldn´t do it anymore! ) ... we had a sleeping bag, yes... BUT it was about -20 (minus!!) degreed celsius.... THAT was cold... a whole night long!!

Good old Northern Europe... so fresh and cosy.
We're having over 30º temperatures during the day now here in Lisbon... it's unbearable.
The good thing about it is: great excuse to drink EVEN MORE beer!
