Viimeinen Tuoppi huulilleni nostakaa! p.s. can anyone tell me what "Varmaan Kuolemaan" means? Here in Wikipedia all titles of their songs are translated in English. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ter%C3%A4sbetoni(Click on the name of the album and there comes the article for the album with the list of songs.) Varmaan Kuolemaan is translated To a Certain Death.

@ Strujka: Tenhi is one of my favorite Neofolk bands. I absolutely love their atmospheres, and can listen to them no matter what mood I'm in. Their melodies bring out various emotions, of which you can't always feel unless you are in that mood at the time. It is like uncovering a brand new album each time, when in reality it is just the same album over and over again.

Tenhi are great, but I like Nest more - they create in the same genre. Anyway, it's not rock nor metal, so I hope it wouldn't be an off-topic.

I even modified a litle the title of the thread, so we can write about all kind of Finnish music we like. For example I like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbiNqfZuEgY

The Swan of Tuonela, what a wonderful and moving piece from the great Sibelius! Last semester in college I kept hoping they would add the sheet music of this composition to their "Book sale" bookshelf, but to no avail. Although the sheet music is worthless when you have none of the instruments and not enough music theory to read and understand it all, but hey, I keep it around for a rainy day. Croc: Nest is a wonderful band, I can't pick between them or Tenhi as I love them both.

Aaaah, Sibelius.. You know already that's a composer in my ,to die for music gallery" Oh, and as a ,hommage' to Wolferin who gave us this thread, I must say that a part of my Sibelius's opuses are interpreted by the Orchestra of The Sofia Opera, conducted by Ivan Marinov. Finlandia \m/

...and that's the beauty of it, Wolferin. Now, I've remembered two more Finnish names in the metal scene: Gandalf with its style that brought some good melodic DM to us in 1998/9 an a crazy band I loved twas also Darkwoods My Bethroted ..and that madness from their ,Autumn Roars Thunder' album
