Shitbook is not an option for me. If a friends really want to contact me they will do it(not in a crappy way like peeing on my wall). Free - yes much of the shits are free. It's sucking network, much people sitting there all day and think they becoming social?! WTF stupid sheeps... And for conspiracy - SB is so huge database - IMO there is no way not to be used from corporations and secret services to know what crowd is out there and how to control it... That's what our grandmas must have thought about telephones I'm one of them junkies that have FB on for the whole day, even though I'm not using it actively for most of the time. It's basically just like a phone line that's connected, enabling people to contact me. As you said, it's extremely useful for keeping in touch with your friends in different time zones and countries. I also like the way how I can invite all my friends to a party and share information with just a few clicks, rather than calling them all or messaging them each time some plans change a bit. There's certainly no free meals, but unfortunately many people don't ever learn that. I share really little information in FB over all, even less for the people who are on my friend list but aren't that close and basically nothing to those I don't know. One won't even find my profile with Google or see my profile picture unless I've added him / her as a friend. I don't see why anyone would want to know my religious or political views, sexual preference, parent's and siblings names and all that right after they've met me. If they do, they can ask for them face to face. Still, even with so little information shared, I still get disturbingly well targeted ads every now and then. We made a semi-humorous fan page for our home brew beer barrel that's bubbling at the moment, in finnish and referring it as "son" without mentioning brewing or beer in any way. The next day the ads on the main page were selling me danish instant home brew kits. I also have a profile in Diaspora, the service that was supposed to bring Facebook down with way better security and usability, but so far it's social as an abandoned camp in Sahara

That's what our grandmas must have thought about telephones I don't agree, because there's nothing innovative in FB - social networks existed before him. Just FB had the chance to become so famous. The reason I not to like FB is the great amount of unusual info one must go through to find something important. It depends on the kind of person you are - willing to have many contacts or more reserved; interested in various photos, videos, stories, etc., or prefering concrete info; having much free time or not. In the three examples I'm from the second kind, so for me FB is only waste of time. About Diaspora and other attempts to compete at that time FB with the same format of net society, it is very hard. But in the future I'm sure, will appear new more interactive forms.

Well, didn't know where to post this, I might as well here..because I had too! It's such a cute kid and it has best taste at her very very young age. ;D Well, to translate, the child stops from her crying because of colics only when Satyricon plays. But gods, the look; she's enjoying it, now just go silent. www.f-b.no/nyheter/kun-black-metal-hjalp-mot-kolikken-1.6129775

Okey its been a while since I've wroted here (I've been still writing on my own tho). This one is more or less fictional writing, but there is still some truth behind it. Hopefully you guys like it I may have finally found the destination of my life. But my map and way are lost. I know what I want but I'll never found it untill I get my hands on the map. The map for you. I know you are the one, but don't know if I dare to ask the directions. What should I ask, how should I do it. Why I can't find the words to your hearth. Or even the gourage to say something face to face with you. I'm on endless darkness and you are the only light in my life. I hope I found the way before I get lost in the dark..
