Hey all. This is my first post and I was hoping you guys could give me some thoughts. (I hope this is the right place to post this. If it's not, let me know and I'll move it). I'm getting married in about three months. I absolutely love metal, particularly folk metal, and I'm lucky enough to be marrying a girl who actually gets it and even joins in on my obsession sometimes. I fell in love with Korpiklaani because they are the perfect mix of metal, drinking, partying and having a good time. As such, I want to use some of their songs for the dancing/partying part of our reception. That's where you come in! I need song suggestions. What songs, of their entire discography, do you think are the most "dance-able?" So far, I've got Nordic Feast and Vodka on the list. Also, if you know of any other folk metal songs from other bands that you think fit this description, let me know that too. Thanks!

First of all, I have an enormous deja-vu. Did anyone else post a question about danceable Korpiklaani songs? I hope yes. Well..actually ALL of them, but Nordic Feast for sure, also Viima, Let's Drink, Pellonpekko, Spring Dance, Rise and Kirki have amazing chorus parts to dance, but not the other parts, Palovana, Shall We Take a Turn, Paljon On Koskessa Kiviä, Kipumylly for some chillin', Tuoppi Oltta... Hope I helped lol:D From other bands: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZ5oiQzqois - this is the best www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMM7nD3Ef1Y - a Hungarian band, it gets better www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tt6_65LDZ60www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBhzhsfTqL0www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDrKpYn-8u8www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdkBs0VCSX0www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta-Z_psXODwwww.youtube.com/watch?v=9F7b4skyUy4 - you can dance some Hungarian Csárdás to this www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvBFgAhCkEQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=D-jFXCxZfX8www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_dWPK9jPYoYou're welcome

Håp! I moved the thread here since it's more about, well, dancing rather than about Korpiklaani

I think just about any Korpiklaani song that isn't a cover is pretty danceable. The more beers, the more danceable

'Cause my dance actually is mostly moshing, the most danceable song is Rise My dear comrade, you're lucky as hell about that.

I cannot believe that Trollhammaren is not mentioned yet... classic one, you should really try this version: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrcOf169KzIRyyppäjäiset is also great song for dancing and moshing. And Sahti-Waari from Turisas, and Tulkaapa Äijät from Moonsorrow! And fucking If I Should Fall From Grace With God by the Pogues... and for the slow ones Tyven from Moonsorrow
