Nice choices ladies... I have changed the music I listen on my daily trips, and the journey woman me ;D discovered that not only Amon Amarth make me want to throw my fist in the air while on public transport,hahaha... The same effect has Týr: was about to start singing in the subway! Honestly, and ,,By The Sword In My Hand!" ;D Or dance on Mortiis ,Smell the Witch"; not to mention singing while playing Viikate, and have no idea what the hell I utter.. So listening nowadays tis fun.. And last night I even sang with Kk..and ja, what some might suppose tis true: wine helped a lot! Currently listening Tapiola (Sibelius)...

A cool mix between Týr, Melechesh and Viikate, seasoned with Loituma and other finnish goodies. Just perfect....

After a good week of Nigthwish (I had a long break from their music after I began to see Tarja as too much of a diva (only for that thought to be confirmed later on) but loving the overall compositions and atmosphere of Tuomas, as well as the working of mr. Hietela, decided to get back into it, and must say I thoroughly love all the albums, even the "later" ones I didn't get into much at first. And despite general disbandment of many fans on the new album, I think the new one is their best one yet) I ended up grabbing my old cd booklet from my car in the shop and listening to the good ol' cds found therein. Currently I have in Bal-Sagoth "Atlantis Ascendent" one of the albums I went on frequent walks with. I don't enjoy it much now as I used to, but it still brings back nostalgia. Waiting to see what will be next in rotation...

Watched on the 2nd national channel the recording of a nice concert of a band here called Trooper. Much to be said of them, but the show they performed with this new album ,, Vlad Ţepes, Poemele Valahiei" impresses...they also had an orchestra ,,behind" and it sound perfect! Those who like Iron Maiden, usuall enjoy our Trooper too, and they have reason too. I used to like them, then ignored them, now I like them again ;D

Reenjoying some more old favorites: today it is the wonderful sounds of Necrofeast, that Dutch Pagan Black Metal band I've listened to many times over and over again, and enjoy just as much now. Alongside that is Hellveto, also still as enjoyable when I first fell in love with this solo project from Poland.

Dernière Volonté - Nos Chairs. Very good martial industrial / neoclassical, with some quite French feeling in it.

Kalmah's latest "12 Gauge"... heavy, melodic death metal from Oulu... great music, great place. Really very good album! This year there are a lot of new albums. The new album of Metsatöll - Äio is very good and Rhapsody Of Fire - The Frozen Tears of Angels is fantastic - it'll may be the power metal album of the year.

This year there are a lot of new albums. The new album of Metsatöll - Äio is very good Ohhh, I keep forgetting to listen to and hopefully acquire that album. Metsatöll is one of the genuine Folk Metal bands whose music matures rather than wanes throughout the years. Estonia has many treasures that I have yet to hear. I've just today come across a link to a wonderful group: Dorena. A wonderful ambient post-rock band from Sweden. I seem to fall more and more in Love with all things Swedish, but not simply because it is Swedish, but because it is amazing and so happens to be amazingly Swedish. It's perfect relaxing music I think, and very thought-provoking. www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4fg4Iagoj8
