The temperature here has risen high above zero and all the snow that fell last week has melted. It doesn't look like winter anymore...

Here it's still there, -11 and slightly snowing. That's my first white Christmas as far as I can remember.

Weather in my country....Hmm.. In my country, Poland we have a 4 beautiful seasons-winter, sping, summer,an autumn.. The most beautiful season for me is spring - everything is green, birds are singing, and this special smell in the air..Is full of hope, love and for life nature awaking...Summer is sometimes hot, and sometimes is raining.. Now we have winter, snow...Beautiful!! But I can wait for spring..

Yeah, the special smell that's in the air in spring... we call it dog shit ;D Here it's been quite chilly lately, or as was stated somewhere else about the current situation in Oulu: "-30C today. People are still bicycling to places."

Here it's still there, -11 and slightly snowing. That's my first white Christmas as far as I can remember. I read somewhere that it's the snowiest winter in the past seven years. I don't honestly even remember when was the last time I saw this much snow. I really like how the outdoors are at the moment, but the spring is going to be pure hell with a few extra weeks of mud and wet dirt if compared to the past few years

I'm freezing only by reading it. Here once I remember -24C and in the recent years there were -17C and -13C. Now is unnaturally warm +14. Normally is to be at about 0C.

Outside tis... Moody Blues live! ;D Meaning that we had a week full of lots of minus degrees, then the yesterday was warmer all of a sudden, and today...whaaaat? Twas autumn! Ponds, dirt, people dressed for ski like..hehe, I even had a huge winter scarf (ok, more of a portable blanket I admit ;D ) and looked as ridiculous as anyone else. And now? In a post-snowy days, the winds roar again and it Winter claims it's her turn to play around here. Hope that brings snow again....otherwise I go to the fridge. ;D

Drifty weather and the streets are full of snow. We have no more road salt so driving your car or walking around could be very dangerous. Currently the temperature is about -3°C and 0 °C.

Oooooh maaaaan, today it was 25c... It's almost summer again 0_0 I'm still hoping we might get some snow later on, usually it snows every second year, and last year it didn't, so... (But even if we do have snow, it only lasts for 1-2 days)

We haven't had this kind of winter for many years. Of course each winter we have some cold and snow, but this wiinter is much stronger. It is freezing almost 4 weeks on a row (usually 'warmer' periods alternate with colder. The temperature went down to -16 here, and the snow does not leave the country. There is snow and ice already for over 3 weeks, and it keeps on snowing.
Right now it is snowing and there is a stormy wind, it is not so cold, about -4, but it feels much colder...

YES!!! First serious storm of the year! We have rain, we have thunder and lightning, we have little chunks of ice falling from the sky! I forgot what it's called in English... Maybe it's hail? And yet.... Somehow the temperature is 10c, makes no sense but whatever, I guess it's colder up there where the ice is formed.

@volk: Hail is indeed the right term. Here, much like it seems to be everywhere, it hasn't changed much the past weeks. Surprisingly the snow that occured what seems like almost a month ago, is still on the ground, slowly melting away. Although now since it keeps fluctuating from sunny and getting warm to dark and getting cold, the snow has developed layers of ice. I'm quite happy with this winter, my only complaint is that the snow isn't being refreshed lately. And living in the city, the worst part of winter, when the snow starts melting and time extends, dirt, crap, and whatever particles of city life are in the air cling to the snow, turning it from the most beautiful thing in the world to a quite sad sight.
