Nightwish! Not only good music but also very good live. Saw them a month ago in a small concerthall with 3500 people and they where really good. I also like the lyrics a lot and the voice of Tarja.
For who who doesn' know who Nightwish is: they are from Finland and play symphonic metal or something like that. I don't like to put a labels on music or people.

Sethlad wrote: Anyway, I think they'll loose some charm without the 2 vocalist runo-singing. I like Hippjokk (also instrumental) but it's by far my least favourite album.
Let us hope and wait...
I agree with you, love all their albums but Tr is my favourite. Without the singers it would never be the same Dit you ever hear of Loituma? I don't know if this band is still alive but there is a resemblance with Hedningarna.

Nop, dunno loituma, but I'll investigate.
You should check Fejd (sweden) and Warsaw Village Band (poland) two very good bands with lots of hedningarnesque influences.

Any of you know the Sibirian folkrock band Yat-Kha? very strange and funny music! Check out the album, Tuva Rock. The singer sounds like a mix of a Tibetanian munk and Treebeard

I saw them live at Roskilde festival back in 2000, but forgot everything about them afterwards. Just remembered them a few weeks ago and got hold of Tuva Rock, but haven't managed to find other albums. They're pretty hard to find here in Denmark
