I have only problems with bazooka, when shooting something what is really far. The super sheep is good for that - but you must know how to drive it ;D

We remembered The Neverhood in another thread, and I posted it here to avoid an off-topic. the Neverhood is the best and maybe the most kind adventure I've played! And the music there is amazing... In Russia, I guess that every guy of our age played it... And we always complete it over and over when we drink - usually I get a sheet of paper and a pencil, and start to draw an algorithm for the "mouse-to-the-cheese" puzzle, while other guys go to a mart for beer. That's because only I have an enthusiasm to complete this puzzle, and if I don't solve it in the very start, we don't complete the game - because it's in the middle of the game, and I'm drunk when we reach it...

Very (not) patiently waiting for Diablo 3. So many hours of my life spent alone in the dark with Blizzard! Beautiful! Can't wait to do it again! ;D I made a valiant effort to play World of Warcraft but I kept running into mountains and getting stuck! The same with Guild Wars. I fell in love with the Lineage 2 graphics, but I think I'm just not good with MMORPG. Better with first person. Warcraft 2 is maybe still my all time favorite... especially when you keep clicking on the people and getting them mad. Currently, I like the Civilization series ( I always convert everything to Danish ) and the Sims, which I just create and torture the poor things until they are ghosts! Although I admit I do have a Jonne Jarvela and Marco Hietala sim, but I have not killed them! I have the Wii but that was before I realized Soul Calibur IV was not coming to it and I can't afford to buy a system just to play one game. So I think I will stick with PCs.

Screw MMORPG's, they eat too much time that you can spend better... for drinking Diablo 3? I'm sure it will not have enough fps on my old PC... but I still play Diablo 2. However, I don't know anyone who completed it (including "Nightmare" and "Hell", of course)

When I was a kid and we first got internet and I remember how awesome it was playing the first Diablo with other players, killing them, collecting their ears, talking shit (I was not even a teenager then, or only just a teenager) and having a great time. That game still will remain one of my all time favorites because of all the childhood memories associated with it. I played Starcraft once and loved it, but never played the full version, just the demo on one of my Diablo discs. I played WoW for about 2 months, the only fun I had in that game was when my good friend would come over with his laptop and we would run around doing missions together. It wasn't really the game that was fun, more the fellowshipping and once again the nostalgia of old days. But I think it is a waste of money, I have grown a large disdain for this game because it has eaten up a lot of my friends throughout it's existence, some friends have stopped it while others only get more involved until eventually I hear nothing from them anymore. I enjoy PC games but my computer is too old (only a couple years, but with advancing technology even a year old computer that hasn't been revamped is quite "old", I could buy a computer now that is 100 times better than this one for even less price! darn!) to run anything good. Thankfully my brother has an Xbox 360 and every other system imaginable (literally, the only system he is probaly missing is original atari and commodore 64) so anytime I am in the mood for games with good cgraphics I just ask him if I can play.

I don't know about Wii, not quite interested in that stuff, but I like traditional PC games like Jazz Jackrabbit, FinalFantasy 1-XII and the two games I love most are Oblivion and NeverwinterNights... Because of the layout and the possibilities you have, when playing. (As ScienceFiction fan I'm waiting for the 4d games...where one can 'live' the char... *grins*) Oblivion, now there is a game I miss a lot. That and the Morrowind ancestor. Morrowind got me hooked on gaming and RPG's, not to mention it is one of the biggest and longest games that I know of. Oblivion was so shocking to see, like Morrowind but with better graphics. I have never been a huge gamer person, but I've always had a love for video games, again a childhood thing. I must say though that the 360 is my system of choice along with computer. Wii is good for playing games in groups and fellowshipping, although even then I really have to try to get into it (although Super Mario Bro. still rules! no matter what system it is on. ), but for personal gaming it is 360 and computer for me all the way.

I did manage to complete Diablo and its expansions, but never on nightmare. I don't think I made it even close to the second level on that! My pc most likely won't be able to run the new one either. I think it still has another year before it's released so perhaps I can scrape up enough to piece together a new hard drive or graphics card.
I think my problem with MMORPGs is that they require you to be social with strangers and I play video games for the exact opposite reason! I know some level 700 is just going to sneak up and slay my little level 2 Night Elf! But it seems most games are going that way. At least Diablo gave you a choice of solo or going on BattleNet and that you could do with friends.
Before RPGs (including Zelda!) I was into the fighting games. Samurai Showdown was the best! From there Tekken and Soul Calibur. Still love the actual stand up arcade versions! Nothing says "humiliation" like getting your arse kicked by an 8 year old with a roll of tokens! ;D

I played a little (and a lot of my friends plays it together). The most disadvantage of that game - it becomes boring after a few hours of playing.

Yeah, Left 4 Dead was fun for a little while for me. Plus it is an extremely short game. Although I would like to play the second one upon it's release. Playing video games after exam is one of the best times to play them. Give you a nice break and allow for your mind to recharge itself. Crystiannia: I am the same way with video games. I play them for isolation and for personal enjoyment, I can only do multiplayer or even think of playing online when it is done alongside friends or family playing along in the same house. I usually don't even pay attention to story lines or do any of that, I just play to relax and take a break from the stresses of the day. Then again I am usually anti-social.

After exam I usually go drinking=) And I do not give attention to the graphics - in good old times a shitty game could not become a hit because of awesome graphics...

Drinking is good too, of course! Yeah, I am not at all critical about graphics, although sometimes I would like to see certain games with better graphics, but that is not often. I occassionally play online games with supposed "horrible" graphics, but it isn't about that, it is about the game. Actually I love playing old systems, they made up for lack of graphics with awesome gameplay and making the games so hard you had to try really hard to beat them. Human minds are not as complex as we make them out to be sometimes, we don't need fancy graphics to enjoy a game, just a goal to try and reach.

I deeply miss Super Mario Bros. 2, that was awesome! Never ever did complete it but I'd like to give it a shot again. Would probably end up breaking the controller in frustration! Did anyone ever play Kid Icarus? That's another I miss and never did complete! I think the graphics got better as games became easier! This link goes to Kid Icarus, but once you're there at the bottom there is a list of classic old games you can play: nintendo8.com/game/312/kid_icarus/. Not the same using a keyboard but it does make for some nostalgia!

Wow, that is an awesome website! Kid Icarus was pretty fun! I'm sad to see that they don't have Shadowrun, that was like the best game for me. They made a new one not too long ago, but nothing beats the original of course. I miss old games, I have so much memories of them. Other than moving, looks like I know what I'm doing today! Hehe
