Bang Your Head festival was this weekend, and korpiklaani made sure it was a party They played 1,5 hours but during the last song I had the feeling (as always) they hadn't been playing for that long As the saying goes time flies when you're having fun. While waiting I met a guy who drove for 3 hours just to see Finntroll and Korpiklaani The hall itself got really hot, temperatures that weekend were around 35 degrees and for some reasons they decided to close the side doors which were used to vent the heat during the day. So unfortunately in my case that excluded beer consumption and had to do with drinking Apfelschörle and couple bottles of water. Here are a couple of photos from the korpiklaani gig

2 weeks ago went to Iceland for a small vacation break and here are 2 photos of the northern lights I saw while I was there They're very blurry but it was the best that I could be without having a tripod

Has been awile but my recent trip to Iceland and seeing the northern lights there had inspired me to write once again
Dancers Of Light
Streaks of light dancing around in the midnight skies alongside with the stars, waves crashing on the rocks the lay ashore. The colors green, red, pink, purple, yellow and blue; All are trying to outdance one another
Cheers and laughter can be heard in the distance, also a group started singing songs that can be traced back to ancient times. In the end green wins the aerial battle, though it doesn't get to celebrate it's victory for very long. Pretty soon the clouds are retaking and claiming their rightful place in the northern skies once again.
For tonight the dancers will have to be content with this brief but impressive performance; And have to be patient for when the clouds call in another retreat in order for them to dance again alongside the stars and moon.

Thursday got approached on the work floor by my boss (Department head Assembly) and asked out of the blue if I was interested in a contract. Didn't even know what to say other then I needed to think about it, he expects an answer from me next Monday;
The day after while reading my e-mails got (in addition to next weeks duty roster) another one from my detachment agency that my other boss (Department head Order fulfillment) planned a meeting next Wednesday together with someone from HR(We all know what that means)
Though they're both working for the same company it looks from my standpoint of view that both departments are working cross. While one goes through the formal channels by setting up a meeting, the other asks it "the traditional Dutch way" Direct
All in all things are going to be very interesting next week.

Nice blog Noncho, great to see Delft from above I've been told Keukenhof is beautiful but never been there myself; Think there's an unwritten rule somewhere about places the Dutch must visit themselves at least once in their lives, and keukenhof is pretty high up that list
