You're so right. But it looks impossible when there are 7 billion destroyers against us.

Ah it's so nice to see people talk and think good things As said before, yeah Paganism is a LARGE umbrella. You can find Hinduism, Wicca, Druidism, Shamanism and many others under Pagan headline. Term "pagan" was used to tell about non-christian people in old Rome. And it means something like "dumb villager". Nowadays people carry it with pride! It's now used to state religions different from christianity, islam and judaism. Shortly, I mean it doesn't mean old barbar people or natural life-style. About the topic, yes we MUST respect other living things. Because they are citizens of earth; not us! Of course we'd take our needs off of them but we HAVE TO switch off our greed mode. And we should give something back for everything that we took. It's not a tough job, simply plant something! Or leave a little bit of your bread to somewhere outside so some animals may eat it. Or something else like that. Because nothing is free and we must pay back. Maybe I'm gonna talk a bit like an over-dreamer but c'mon can't you see the nature's taking her revenge? We must stop this greed. You can eat cabbage instead of extremely tortured and unnatural chickens, you can sit on plastic chairs instead of wood ones, you can have fun without getting eachother wet, or you can walk on the street without snapping a leaf from a tree or you can ride a bike to the grocer's instead of a motorbike, you can wear cotton instead of a brutally killed animal fur... We just have to stop. Nothing more.

Wow these posts about Turkish folk instruments made me happy! Yes, kaval is Turkish, I don't think it's common with Persians because there are different kinds of kaval in Middle-Asian Turkish music. So it can't be a Trachian based instrument. And saz, yes it's a Turkish instrument, too. The ancestors of saz are komuz and domra. And about Altai-Kai, I'm really surprised when I saw them on this place Instruments they're playing are komuz, domra and temir komuz. But I can't name the wind instruments but they are the ancestors of kaval of course . Komuz and domra are that string instruments that you hear in Altai-Kai songs. You can find domra (sometimes dombıra or dombra) in YouTube. Temir komuz is the instrument that gives boing boing sounds. It's a strange string instrument played by mouth and fingers. You can sometimes hear it in Arkona songs like Tuman Yarom. Also here in Anatolia we have much instruments; bağlama, ud, kanun (Turkish - Persian and looks like kantele!), kaval, sipsi, darbuka, zurna, davul, kemençe and many more. Sorry for that I couldn't give any links because I'm on a mobile device Hope you like it

Gonna or wanna learn: French and German because they are international languages and I will become a translator, Kazakh, Uzbek and Kyrgyz, because they are other Turkic languages and I love them, Finnish because I love the land and the sweet, melodic language and I want to read Kalevala from original text

Hey guys! In this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFdn9lhlsEwWhen Juho is telling the story of Petoeläimen Kuola, he says the beer had been ferment with the predator's saliva. But according to Kalevala (I have a Turkish copy) the beer was ferment with the honey of the plants that the bee has collected. So I wonder if Juho was wrong or the Turkish translator? Thanks for the answer from now. You guys rule!

I was in Islam at first, too. Because 90% of people in my country is muslim and so my family is. I raised as a muslim; I did all the things Allah wanted from me. But 2 years ago, things have changed. I couldn't feel Allah anymore. Islam didn't make any sense for me. So I decided to be a deist. 1 years later I found neo-paganism and it was fitting what I have in my soul. Now I'm a herbalist, a magick practitioner and a witch-tengriist. For whom that doesn't know about tengriism, it's the first and real religion of Middle-Asian Turks. That's it man! I'm in my very precious way and I'm happy. This is what I belong.
