One night I saw a horrible dream includin Hannibal Lecter, myself and a really sharp knife on my throat. The cannibal was talking to me with a really deep and scary voice and threatend to kill me, but somehow I was running away. He followed me, but I managed to get away with a really odd balloon plane ;D. Some random girl helped me fly it. I woke up really anxious. In the same dream a band called Gian (this really exists and plays great stuff!) was playing in our school toilets ;D.

When i was little, i always dreamt of wolves who were attacking the house i lived in. In fact i lived in a city, in my dreams i lived in a wooden 'chalet-type' house. The odd thing was that i have always been very fond of wolves. When little i always read stories about wolves. like in Jack London's book (like Pitah, the grey wolf)and the story about Kazan (J.O. Curwood) was one of my favo books for many years.

I already mentioned that I seem to have a trauma concerning university excursions... they are still hunting me about every second or third night. This time I dreamt about one that went to the amusement park that's situated in the town I'm from. I don't even know how I ended up in this bus but there was my Finnish and my Icelandic teacher, the Finnish teacher was at some point going around and distributing tickets and calendars and stuff. I thought of hiding, after all I hadn't been officially on this excursion from the beginning but got in somehow later without knowing it was an excursion. He wasn't even surprised to see me but asked me if I could possibly pay 20 euros for the rest of the trip and to get in that amusement park (which in fact costs more than that but well). I told him I probably didn't have that much with me but had a look. I found a 25 euro note (which would be quite interesting to find ) besides a 5 something note from Latvia I didn't know where that one came from. He gave me a calendar I didn't know what to do with and we were going to the amusement park. Then I had another dream afterwards, I was meeting up with a former fellow student from Cologne, who's been living in Oulu for 3 years. We met at university since she was going to give me some information still concerning health insurances and apart from that she gave me a list with some imperative forms in Finnish. I didn't pay that much attention to the paper but then she said, "do you know them all, also the second one?" I looked at them and thought wtf, never heard of a form like that. She was like, yeah, exactly what I thought when I saw them. I told her I only knew "mene", "menkää" and "mennään" (of which the latter one isn't an imperative at all but in my dream it obviously was) but a form "mennj" I had never heard of. Then I had to go to my class, later I got an sms from her, asking if we can't cancel "that". I wondered WHAT we should cancel, we didn't agree on a further meeting and the last one we can't cancel since it's in the past... I decided to write back if she meant the whole Finland thing? If she wanted to move back to Germany because of the unknown imperative form? ;D ;D

Still having flue, so i went to bed early after i fell asleep on my desk yesterday. Had a very odd dream, think it is a mixture of facts and things i've read somewhere and my own ever 'forgetting' habits.
I dreamt that i got an assignment to make a series of pictures during three days of Ville Valo (singer of HIM), because he was starring in some James Bond thing... (not just the music, dunno what it was). For that i had to go to a small, hilly and beautiful old town in Italy. I met my partner there, he should do the interviews. There was a big bus and Ville came out. My partner and i agreed to stay together to do the job. I went to the toilet, and when i returned the bus was gone and so was my partner. I forgot to ask his mobile phone number, so there was no way to reach him. I went into town (all climbing) to ask if someone knew where they'd gone. Odd enough everyone spoke Finnish. I could not find them and then had to stay the night in a garden shed. I realised that i forgot to take anything with me apart from my camera. So i had no clean clothes, no coat, nothing...
typical dream, i don't even like HIM. ;D

Last night I saw a really odd dream about our microwave oven. It had disappeared, I think my dad had taken it and because of that I had to make my porridge with the regular cooker. Also a couple of my friends were there, but we lived in a small flat, where the three boys slept in the same room and I lived with some bigger ladies I had never seen before.. And I had lost my shirt. I finally found it in Aarne's backpack ;D.

I had a pretty damn crazy dream last night. I actually woke up and went looking for a pen so I can write it down, but I didn't find one so I went back to sleep. Anyway, I think I remember most of it...
It took place tonight at Jyväskylä, apparently. There was a gig where Korpiklaani, Kivikylä and Amplifire were playing at some rather small, barn-like club. The first band was Kivikylä which I had never heard before (because it doesn't exist...). The band was wearing leopard-textured tights, pieces of white fur and really bad eye make-up. They looked pretty damn gay in any possible way and they played some kind of glam rock with violin and acordion on it.
Some guy at front row told me that there's a custom that Amplifire fans throw the trash that you get when sharpening a pen to the band, but for some reason people started throwing it on Kivikylä already. Actually the trash was shooting with high velocity from behind our backs and it soon covered the whole stage. Kivikylä was so bad, that after the trash shower everyone started throwing sea mine -shaped water balloons to them! I threw one to their bassist's face and his glasses fell down, so I was like "oh, sorry!" and he was just smiling like "that's ok!" Anyway, they had to stop the gig.
People were waiting for Korpiklaani and throwing those balloons to each other in the meantime. Suddenly Jonne came to me and he was really pissed for some reason related to that Kivikylä band. Actually whole band was really angry but they still got on the stage, played only a few songs and left because they couldn't play any more for some reason.
After the gig I went to the guys who were packing their bus and tried to ask what was wrong but no-one was willing to reply. I thought that I'd ask if they wanted to play the gig next night at my friends' house warming party, but they were looking so mad I didn't dare to ;D Next day I went on korpiklaani.com and read their statement from the news: They had had great time with Kivikylä sometime before the gig, the drummers of both bands had had curly hair (?!?!) and Kivikylä's drummer had broken an egg on Matson's head. That had created a brotherly connection between them! ;D BUT: The female violin player of Kivikylä had been jealous or something to Hittavainen and she had "loosened the needles(?!) of Hittavainen's violin so that he couldn't tune it anymore. That had ruined the whole gig.
*) Kivikylä is actually a small company that makes really good meat products ;D Amplifire is an actual band (http://www.mikseri.net/artists/amplifire.25992.php), but I haven't ever heard their music. I just know the name.

Haha, quite an excellent dream ;D
Mine from a few days ago can't match with that but it went like this:
I dreamt I was in jail. First I thought the reason was that I was accused of having murdered Jonne from Korpiklaani, that's why I thought about just writing him a pm on the forum and tell him to come to the jail so they'd see he's still alive and I can't have murdered him. But then it seemed to be some other reason, and I was supposed to be there for a month. Actually it didn't bother me much to be in jail since I had internet there and my room mate I knew already (it was Hannibal Lecter btw, but for some reason we knew each other very well), the only thing that pissed me off was that I wasn't allowed to hang more than one poster on the wall and -even worse- I wouldn't get out of there before the Finnish Metal Expo.

Nordis, your dreams are fascinating! I have very vivid dreams. Usually, I know I am dreaming so I don't wake up thinking, 'I wish I would have __________!' Then again, sometimes I wake up and think, 'Thank goodness! That was beyond embarrassing.'
I've had two really odd ones in the past few months that stuck in my mind. The first was a nightmare and the second was odd, but nice.
In the nightmare, I dreamt that I was visiting an ancestor of mine in the hospital in a room at the end of the hall. The nurses warned me that if anything happened, I was on my own. Weird, but whatever. The lights were on and the room was painted that icky light green that hospital rooms used to be painted in, but the light wasn't able to penetrate the darkness. She was lying there, surprisingly peaceful with her hair in long, light grey braids. There were a few shadows watching nearby, as though this person were attracting the most persistent type of darkness imaginable. They weren't on the attack, just waiting. Patiently. It scared me even more that they were patient, as though there was nothing anyone could do to prevent them from fulfilling whatever their mission was. I just knew that if the darkness that was slithering around around touched me, I'd end up in that bed as that person and miss whatever was left of my life.
Suddenly, she sits up and with incredible strength wraps her TPN line around me like a lasso so I can't get away and starts screaming and looking like the Cryptkeeper or something, but with brighter eyes. All of the nurses were too scared to step foot in the room, although I could hear them outside. I remember thinking that if I could just yank that TPN line away from the port, she'd bleed out in fairly short order so I maybe could get away before I became her, but I was too afraid to move as the shadows got closer. I remember feeling something brush up against my pant leg before I woke up. That was one of my cats, whew! I don't know if the dream is because of my sister's illness (she's on TPN now until a transplant can come through) or what, but it scared the heck out of me.
In the second one, I was in some foreign country. I decided to put my shoes on and noticed that they were missing. I went back to the pedestrian zone and sat there, trying to figure out what to do next after cutting through a pizza place. Smelled great! Anyway, a group of five people were standing there, chatting. I heard a word that I understood, so I figured maybe they could direct me to a hostel or something. Nope, couldn't understand anything. As they split up to go about their business, one of them motioned for me to go with him. He had long, dark hair and a little bit of facial hair, maybe in his late 20s or early 30s, kind of cute, hazel eyes, leather jacket, etc. A generic metalhead type, I guess.
Since I didn't have anywhere else to go, I followed him. He took me to his three room apartment which had a lot of plants in the front room and a surprisingly nice view of some body of water outside in the distance. He managed to convey that the plants were friendly and said that there was a store on the corner that sold magazines. Oh, and that the lease was up in three years, so we might want a bigger place since I would eventually want my own computer after learning the language and not to worry because the computer monitors don't grow mold. He also had two weird looking cats that were skittish but came around quickly. There was nothing out of the ordinary about him other than he just let some stranger move into his place with his friendly houseplants and mold free computer monitor. I remember sitting there, reading some German magazine and trying to make out what the logo on his shirt was when I woke up.
