Wasn't sure where to post this one, since it involves dreams and involves beer, but since the beer was in the dream then the post belongs here after all.
Definitely one of the weirder experiences I've had lately... I had a dream with a long and detailed plot, and it all felt very significant and crucial, but the most decisive scene in that dream took place in a well-lit room resembling a bar. I was there leaning on the bar stand, and there were a group of folks with me - I can't remember who they were, but they felt to be very significant to me. We were drinking a beer that I never tasted before in real life - it was Leinenkugel's Classic Amber, I distinctly remember the label on the bottles and on the draft handle. We were drinking this beer out of huge pilsner glasses, but there was only a little of it on the bottom - that's how it was served, and it felt to be scarce and important somehow, as if it's a rarity and delicacy.. Then someone spilled their glass onto the bar stand, and the spill was mourned as much as if he had broken an expensive vase. The strange thing is that I distinctly remember what that beer tasted like, in the dream... my dreams are generally very sensory-based, and same with this one - upon waking up I could easily recall the taste of that beer-within-a-dream in my mouth. It was bitter and spicy and a bit flat and rusty/metallic in my mouth.
So then dream ended, and I awoke from that dream with the feeling that my week hadn't been going right, and that this beer is somehow the key to making everything fall into place... I was at once possessed with the idea of going to the supermarket this very same day and buying a six-pack of this beer that I've seen and tasted in my dream - a beer that I've never tasted in real life - and drinking a bottle of it after getting home. Maybe it was my sleepy deliriousness, but there was a distinct sensation that drinking that mystery beer would solve something important. Connect the worlds of dream and reality? There was that sensation, too. It felt to be an extension of it somehow. So I get off work, and go to the supermarket, and buy a six-pack of Leinenkugel's Classic Amber, the one that was in my dream (it's their new flavor, they only came up with it a couple months ago and I never checked it out before), and what do you know.. it just so happened that there was a sale on it and I got it for two bucks less. So I bring it home, still cold from the supermarket's fridge, and take a bottle of it and unscrew the cap and take a big swig -- and holy shit, it tasted exactly like it did in my dream! Bitter and spicy and a bit flat and rusty in my mouth. Mindwarp.
Maybe to some it's a sign of concern that I'm dreamin' up booze prophetically like that, but I wouldn't have it any other way ;D

With all that's been going on lately, I surprisingly had a really pleasant dream the other night. I was walking about in a pleasant wooded area in the snow, wearing my favorite long black coat. There was about a foot of pristine snow on the ground and it was comfortably cold. I was just wandering looking at the trees and wildlife. What stood out though was my companion; by my side the entire dream was a wolf. Not menacing. Not intimidating. He, I'm confident it was a he, was simply walking by my side. At one point I was sitting on a log looking at something another animal was doing and it made me smile. I looked over at my wolf friend sitting next to me and he smiled back at me, as if to say "Yes, wasn't that funny?" For a little while I didn't feel so alone or out of place. I remember that his fur was a light gray color and his eyes a light blue. They weren't piercing eyes, but instead very friendly and sincere eyes. He would cock his head to look up at me and he had such a silly fun grin with his tongue hanging out. He never once ran off from me or tried to lead me anywhere. He simply just walked with me and enjoyed being at my side. End dream. I can do other forms of divination, but I don't have a grasp of dream symbols at all. So I Googled what wolves signify. I didn't agree with anything that it said though, at least not this dream. Wolves symbolizing hidden dangers or suppressed aggressive behavior? The only positive interpretation was if it had been a white wolf then perhaps it could be guidance of a sort. The wolf in my dream felt neither, definitely not a threatening or hidden presence! I felt it was a friend. Just as if someone that cared about me knew I was in need of a friend and invited themselves over just to keep me some company. I'm a little curious though to know who the wolf was and if he might return. I enjoyed his company!

This night was full of fears First I dreamt that I was about to go from Oulu to Helsinki with the night train (as I plan to do today) but before that the train company had some lectures about how you can cope better with lots of luggage on long distances (which really would be useful as I have to walk many kilometres with all the stuff tomorrow) and when they were finished it was two minutes before the train would leave. So I ran to track 1, where trains to Helsinki usually leave but as I came there it left from track 3! So it was impossible to catch that still. I went to the ticket sales (which of course aren't open at night time but in my dream they were) and asked if they could change my ticket because I had missed the train because of their lecture. They said well, no, actually not, but maybe we can make an exception. And then this woman wanted me to write my address on a piece of paper for that (??), meanwhile it was only 5 minutes before the last train would leave, and then she said, can't you write that a bit more clearly? I said, yeah, sure, tried and then she wasn't satisfied with how I wrote the "t" in the address... I was just damn nervous because the train would leave soon but couldn't decide between freaking out there or just trying to be patient. Can't remember what happened then. In another dream I was going to a Korpiklaani concert somewhere and then I found out they had played in Utsjoki the day before! I had no idea, I would have gladly come there as well. Oh, and some time ago I had to go to jail because of reading Arto Paasilinna books

;D This morning I dreamt Jonne and Cane were at my dining table waiting for me to make pancakes with eggs in them? But everytime I would try to start cooking, something would fall down and "Inis Mona" by Elueviete would come from the stove or cabinets. I'd turn around and Jonne and Cane would just shrug like they didn't know why either. But understandably... when I really did wake up I had several missed calls on my cell phone: 3 from my brother who's ring is set to "Keep On Galloping" and 4 from my mother who's is "Inis Mona!" So am thinking that each time the tones came on, that's what created the dream images! It was kind of weird. Who eats pancakes with eggs in them?!

I had a nightmare last night that was extremely weird.
I cannot, for the life of me, remember the beginning to it, or even if there was a beginning, but I still have the general feeling of how it started.
My friend (who is doing a media course in university when we head off in a month or so) wanted to film a horror film in a house which was apparently haunted. A group of friends (those that I can remember present were: Stan, Darius and Lisa), Ales (the guy doing the filming) and I went to this house to start filming. This part of the dream is a bit lost/fragmented, but I can remember messing around with my friends and we ended up tying Stan's hands behind his back. Then we started getting haunted by these deep shadows which lay at the back of the main room. Some form of shadow demon I think. I remember refusing to arm myself against it (the house had an old rapier and pistol as a decoration in another room). Then here is the part I remember clearly.
My friend Alex was in another room (closer to the outside of the house) setting up cameras and I went to tell him that we couldn't get the string undone from Stan's wrists. Then there was some sort of commotion, so I went back into the other room to find the shadow demon lurking at the back of the room and I could see a silhouette on the wall of my friend with no legs and impaled on some kind of horn.
Before I had time to think, the wall was "torn" through by this new demon; possible the weirdest thing my mind could come up with. This demon was some sort of reptillian fossil thing. Basically, it was a dinosaur skeleton encased in stone, but the stone was so weird that it did not hinder its movement at all. It was like the stone wasn't really there. It dived out of one wall, grabbed by other friend and disappeared into the wall on the other side of the room.
I turned and retreated back into the room where Alex was, but he was gone. I grabbed the rapier and the pistol and returned back to the room with the demons (no idea why I did that). When I got in there, the wall on the left side revealed the reptillian demon again, but it didn't jump for me. it came half way out of the wall, looked at me and then this huge, dull steel limb of some sort shot out of the wall as well and stabbed me in the arm. I turned and ran back through the other room and to the door that would take me outside. I fumbled with the lock and managed to get through just before the demons got to me. I ran outside and across the lawn to find that the lawn stopped at one point and gave away to a vast black oblivion. I stood there, turned around and heard my friend's voice say "yes, I got away!" at which point, I turned bakc to the oblivion and let myself fall in to escape from the demons.
That was when I woke up. The whole reason I woke up I think was because I was going "aaaah" in my sleep, I heard myself do it as I woke up.....weird
And as I woke up, the tagline to my friend's film was in my head.
"Call: 111-WATCH-US-DIE"
That was the weirdest part of it.

I´ve had a nightmare today. I dreamt that I was in a very strange buildng and nobody was there. I was all alone and scared because there were noises I could not identify, some screamings and groaning. I run through the hallways and found a room with a large mirror from the ground to the ceiling. After a few seconds I saw that the room was changing but only in the mirror. I guess it was blood which was running down the walls and filling the room in the mirror. I was shocked and not able to move, then the real room changed too. There was blood everywhere and even my body started to bleed. It was a nightmare, the door I used to enter the room was locked and the refelction of the mirror just stopped at one moment. I stared at it while my room filled up with more and more blood from the ceiling and the walls. Then I woke up, five minutes before my alarm bell did it. Sometimes my dreams want to tell me something but I guess it was just a nightmare

I had a funny dream! Well I dreamt I was at Seaworld and for some reason there was a store selling kittens. So I bought two black kitties for five dollars. When I got home I showed my mom the kittens and decided to store them in her car's trunk (animal abuse I know XD) when I opened the trunk there were ten fully grown cats! XD So I flipped and went back to Seaworld, but only the owner of the kitty shop's wife was there, and she told me to go away. When I opened the trunk again, the kitties were gone! For some reason I had James Hetfield of Metallica's number. I texted him "I lost the kitties James!! " he texted back "It's okay dude!! \m/' I texted back "no it's not!!" And then he texted back a picture of a morbidly obese Lars Ulrich O.O

I had the most terrifying dream! I dreamt I was dating Nick Jonas! When I woke up I had to Google who he was. I must have seen him when my son watches the Disney Channel. In the dream we were going on dates to fast food places and cute carnivals. He kept hugging me alot and kissing my cheek. There were rainbows and oddly cute things all around us. I think Hello Kitty may have showed up as well! I need to not eat 7 layer mexican dip that soon before bed! I couldn't shake the image all day! Besides, after seeing a picture of who the Jonas Brothers are, I came to the conclusion that Joe Jonas would have been more my type! Lol!

I had a weird dream where apparently I'd gotten a ford ranger (although it didn't really look like one) then i drove it up the hill my parents street goes up, then I started walking the way I used to go to school. I then met one of my high school friends in the middle of the hill, he was standing there smoking and wearing a poofy coat he used to have. We were like "hey man its been a while" and stuff, then we walked a bit further together and met one of my friends from early primary school, who was at the bottom of the hill in front of his girlfriends house, and for some reason he was missing a leg...
It's weird, because I remember it almost better than some drunken nights in recent history...
anyway, I've been having strangely vivd and strange dreams lately, but I can't remember most of them very well...
