My name is Jarmo and I live in Holland. I don't know how I came to Korpiklaani anymore, but I know I like it First, I was really into Finntroll, but then I heard about Korpiklaani. I don't play any instruments... But I like to listen I really like the modern examples of any folk music: Korpiklaani Finntroll Flogging Molly (slightly other genre) I don't really sport, but I do some archery. Jarmo

greetings!my name is lev (originally levente, which means "ancient heroe" in Hungarian), 20 years old, writin from the capital of Hungary, Budapest.fav bands: Opeth, Korpiklaani, Rotting Christ, but I like many-many other metal-bands, especially:Turisas, Carpathian Forest, In Extremo, Amon Amarth, Impaled Nazarene, Moonsorrow, Primordial, so mostly the pagan-viking-folk line.but I listen to some punk music, mostly Iggy Pop, and reggae too, some blues, and I quite like the old rock bands...the "spirit of the forest" is very important for me, my hobby's cycling (cross-country-marathon) for long-long hours all alone between the trees.and what else is important, maybe that's enough from me...

Alright... as maybe some of you have noticed, I registered here about 2 weeks ago (after the Korpiklaani gig in Cologne ), I'm Socke, 22 years old and live in Brühl (Germany) which is between Cologne and Bonn. I'm studying Finnish and Scandinavistics in Cologne (still... though I'm planning to go on with that in Oulu next year) and well, what else? I have a huge interest in Finland and everything connected to it and of course in music (mostly Finnish bands ). I also like to write a lot which altogether led to working for a webzine about Finnish metal bands. Well, and now I try to read all the shit you already posted here little by little ;D

And now time for introducing. I am Atti from Budapest. I'm 26 yrs old, and I'm back again in school - exactly university. Thanks to God I've found Korpiklaani a month ago, and I saw them last thursday. I'm interesting about Finland and the finnish culture. It started with Mika Häkkinen in '92 - no, just kidding. I speak finnish a bit, but the Sun will goes down about 1000 times until I'll be perfect Beside the most famous finnish bands, like Apocalyptica or Finntroll, I like others like Teräsbetoni, Timo Rautiainen ja Trio Niskalaukaus, Eläkälaiset, etc. Best wishes to Korpiklaani for their carrier, and everyone in this forum.

Greetings, my name is Mark. I hail from the might land of Devon! England! Live in a small village nobody will have heard of. I'm 20, yet i really don't feel it, i sort of wish i was around the age of 18 forever. Been listening to folk metal for a while now, so of course i enjoy Korpiklaani imensely! I paticularly enjoy the use of real instruments, rather than the sometimes annoying keyboards which some bands go for. I also listen to black metal, but more and more these days i'm putting folk and viking metal ahead of it, mainly due to the people involved being alot...better.
