As there is made a thread about books, why shouldn't I start a new one about movies?
Anyway, last movie I've seen was Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs". Good one.
What about you?

Mmmm.. I think "Pride and Prejudice" This is the official English trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARWfCBr0ZDMThis film is taken from the homonymous book and I think that is faithful to it. The film is directs by Joe Wright. In simple terms is the story of a woman, a mother, who wants to marry her daughters to wealthy gentlemen. There're some drawbacks in the story to avoid making it boring. In conclusion, I liked it very much If you like the genre I reccomend it to everyone!

Don't post titles, make it interesting! Write a review, put some links to trailers/youtube whatever here, so that it is for everyone to enjoy.
I wrote a review just now, but realized that i should put it in the Finnish movie thread...

I don't watch many movies. The last one I've tried to watch was a comedy with Jim Carry, "Me, Myself and Irene". What a crappy thing... I turned it off in less than a hour.

If this thread will contain more sensible information i will move it back to the 'serious department' , for now it fits here better.

As I said before, my lastest movie was "Reservoir Dogs". It's Q. Tarantino's film about a group of thiefs, who use only nicknames to call themselves (Mr. Brown, White, Pink etc). They were making a heist in a jewellery shop, but something gone wrong; two of them died, one was shot in the stomach. They met in the left magazine to clear up, who told the police about it. Then we've got some retrospection about recruitment them to the job, and the one with the escape and death of two. The end of the movie is not clear-the viewer can guess what happened Anyway, the movie was great. I haven't seen more Q. Tarantino's movies, but saw him earlier only once, on the "Desperado", when telling famous joke

Oh, such a painful topic here!hmm....yeah, Tarantino..l've seen all his films; l'm glad he made them. For my generation Pulp Fiction twas a kewl remarkable one...still is. Otherwise, l had a bad winter in films: nothing good l'm afraid...eastern european art film are centered on moronic topics....bläh! Anyway...a film l enjoyed 2 months ago is ,VOLTAIRE' ;a recent production l think,l don't know for sure. Cleverly made with healthy humorous lines!

I always think Tarantino's films just have way too much talking in them. Nobody really DOES anything. The last film I watched was Stephne King's "The Mist" on blu-ray I think. Good film, but the ending was a bit poor. I was promised a shocking twist... I dread to ask this but: has anyone seen "Donkey Punch"? I plan on watching it tomorrow out of interest ;D

De gustibus non discutandum..... This reply goes for Learntokill: if you're a Jane Austen reader, you should try the BBC productions....they're absolutely marvelous and respect the books. I'm a big fan, and l know l can count on them if it comes to classic writer's books to be made films. They bloody rule! ;D

Although not a fna of Jane Austen, I can agree that BBC productions are brilliant. I am currently watching The Tudors, which I suppose could class as a film. There are about 20 hours of television in it!

Stephne King's "The Mist" i hope it's great because i'll watch it today's evening had no time at videoworld to search for a nice fantasy movie, because i ordered a pizza (32, with gyros, looots of cheese, paprika and mushrooms for 16€) and needed money from bank so i had to hurry yesterday i wached 'eden log' quite strange and very dark fantasy? movie even at the end i was not sure about its story i think that general my problem with french productions i'm also not such a fan of these a bit more special erotic scenes in nearly every french movie anyway french people have imo a kinda strange taste in erotic scenes...

I watched most of Braveheart last night. I've seen it more times than I can count, and still love it. I'm not even a fan of Mel Gibson!
