Maybe, here most alcoholic drinks are made like so: mix water, sugar, pure 96% spirits and flavour concentrate in some way, and get beer/gin/vodka/anything... That's why we the alcoholics have to remember where this alcohol is from and and what factory has it been made...

Isn't this quite the same as the other general discussion thread? Well you've got this going already, so there's no point to lock this. If the other one remains inactive it might go at some point. I find all the long drinks more or less horrible, only the original gin + grapefruit one is tolerable. Atleast it's an actual mixed drink, not just soda with alcohol The same goes for all the finnish "ciders" that can be anything from strawberry and rhubarb flavours even to energy drink flavour. Yes, only the putrid flavour, not any of the caffeine or taurine or anything. Then again, I'm a total drink facist and won't usually even buy any beers that contain anything else than water, barley, hops, sugar, yeast and some natural flavouring. If you can't make beer without starch, colouring, preservatives or sweeteners, then you just simply can't make beer The same goes for ciders that are usually filled with acids and E-whatevers. The only cider that's widely in sale in Finland and that clearly states it has only natural ingredients is Black Rat which is really awesome.

Yes, to some extend it is. But the general discussion threat seems to me for more serious discussions, but sometimes people need to exchange everyday talk. So not to do it as flood in other threads, like new members introducing, I decided to create this thread with cheerful title. Please don't lock it, at least for my efforts to compose Spämmiklaani...may be properly with my "rich" Finnish. ;D

But if I'll ever be in Finland, I'll bring you some! You mean that you'll bring some samples of that, what you call "made from bull balls", to me for taste? Thats a deal then

An actual discussion in a spámm thread? For shame!
Sticking my head in suddenly and going, "boo!" (this is traditional middle high ghost-speak, not a disapproval yell)* Some on this forum may remember me, but it's only a brief visit for now...

* the middle high ghost-speak may be distinguished by its lack of fricatives and dipthongs, and is characterized by its reductionist approach to alphabetic system, containing only one vowel and one consonant - which, however, are free to be creatively employed in various permutations.

Another spam post in a spam thread! (also because the "shit from the net" thread is apparently locked now?)
Everyone who has facebook... find "Goo Games" in the application search, and PLAY that shit... your life will never be the same again (well at least, your procrastination life!) ;D
Recommended ones to check out under that app: Elementz, Pyramidz, Manhattan. If you wonder what it's like to be sugar high without actually having eaten any sugar... you will find out soon enough. Make sure your sound is on - half the lure of this stuff is in the sound. And the other half is in the shiny, sparkling, multicolored wonderland graphics. It's so colorful it's damn sickening... but by the time you realize this, it will have been too late ;D

Found this the best topic to write this: Few days back I was feeling kinda odd, my feelings were storming like a hurricane in a matchbox. Needless to say it had to do with relationships.. So I did something very unusual for me, I didn't hide it inside me, but I took my phone (yes I'm awful when it comes to write with pen and paper , anyway) and went to my balcony to watch the starry sky. And I wrote this: Memories, things that used to be. Things that didn't last forever. If I have only good memories from my past, does it mean that I've had a good life, or does it mean that every good thing in my life hasn't and will not last forever. That all good things come to an end. That life is just a dark room, filled with few tiny light spots from the past.
And what are dreams for? To give us the boost up, when we are slowly going downhill. Or to torment us in our every day life. What is it that keeps us, the humans, dream about things that will never come true? Things that happen only in the movies. Why are we so willingly risking our mental health by reaching for the starts? Is it because of a rumor, that tells us about everlasting happiness, never ending sunshine. When the past is just a bad memorie, an awful nigthmare and the future is full of joy and happiness. That someday our dreams come true, and we will win the jackpot of our lives.
For me, memories are the fuel to keep me going, to power up my rocket while I go for the stars and the jackpot of my life.
What does memories and dreams mean for you??So I was thinking, what do you guys and girls think about it, should I continue writeing? Since it felt good to express myself on a way I haven't never tryed. And if you like to tell, how do you handdle difficult feelings and things, do you write, sing, roar, or play an instrument? Ps. Ignore the typeing erros

I think you should go on writing. Really liked your chain of thoughts, especially in the first paragraph, and the words you found for it.
As for myself, I do write when something evokes deeper thoughts in me. It helps me a lot to write it down, makes it clearer to myself and sometimes helps to handle things better. Usually I just write what comes to my mind, but sometimes there's a sentence or expression that leads to an idea of writing something more lyrical and coherent, and when I've really created something that way and am content with the outcome myself it makes me feel a lot better.

Yes, Arivse, you should keep doing that (I've noticed not only here, but in other threads too, that when you're up to, you use beautiful expressions of your feelings..so it shows you have a predisposition to ''live'' through words). Actually, you don't need to be told that: when you have the mood for it, it kinda dictates you to do it; like writing is taking hold of yourself. Hehe, and this one you wrote now, reminds me of similar words I put on paper since teen too. So, ja, just like Socke, I too write. It's already a ''condition'' I have ; would be hard for me to live without writing.

You should keep on writing, I think you have a way of expressing yourself in a poetic way when you write it down. Can't speak for the others here, but I feel the emotions through the words when reading this.
When I have difficulties I turn to my skulls and try to connect with it.

Keep on writing brother! That stream-of-consciousness style writing is to me the best form of writing, and although your writing has already started off on a great path it will only continue to improve and be even more fluid. I used to write much more frequently than I do now, but it's still one of my favorite things to do. There is something therapeutic about writing, it helps you connect with yourself more and understand your emotions and why you have them. For me I used to write, but I found that I could never find the words to express what I felt, not because they don't exist but because I have a very limited recall of any language. Writing music for me has been the best means of therapy, because in music I can express anything and I can hopefully allow others to feel their own expressions while listening to it. Recalling a quote I once read of Martin Luther's "I have no pleasure in any man who despises music. It is no invention of ours: it is a gift of God. I place it next to theology. Satan hates music: he knows how it drives the evil spirit out of us." And thus it is true: music calms the soul and allows it to be moved to higher states. It is the most heavenly thing we are able to possess and create as humans, and it's language is understood by every person in the world. Having said that though writing is "write" up there with music: after all how many times has the power of language empowered music? Please keep sharing your new creations with us Arivse: I find a kindred connection in your ever familiar thoughts and words.

That stream-of-consciousness style writing is to me the best form of writing Oh man. Not you too? ;D I have read one book though in stream-of-consciousness style which I thought was remarkably good, one of the finest books I've ever read, Michael Herr's Dispatches. I think it works so well because the surrealism of the Vietnam experience matches the writing style, and vice versa; certainly the many other books on Vietnam I've read leave more questions than they answer, but Dispatches somehow makes sense of the insensible.
