The story continues...she lives to tell the tale .. Answer of Tarja on her own website: www.tarjaturunen.comNow that's what I call unprofessional, she's basically calling the band members racist and wifebeating rednecks between the lines. Way to go.

Now that was the stupidest stuff I've read about that issue so far. It was MY OPINION... I leave you yours without judging it or giving it names, so you should leave me mine without calling it stupid. Maybe future will prove my prognosis right... where do you wanna know from that it won`t? And sorry, if you think, Nightwish is real Metal, then go on thinking so... for me it´s sentimental melodic Power Metal stuff. I knew I said it out too harshly What's real metal nowadays? Atleast for me it's Manowar, Dio, Udo and so. And as I said, I really can't find anything related to power metal from their last 2 albums. But arguing about genres is just plainly stupid since everyone thinks their own way about every genre. Someones describe Battlelore as "folk metal" and Samael as "gothic rock", so

I really can´t believe all this! Of course it´s sad, that Tarja is so keen on the money, but on the other hand no one has this strong clear romantic voice like she has... without Tarja Nightwish just will not have the same success. You´ll see... Tarja`s solo-carreer will go great (mainstream music) while Nightwish with a new singer will become a much smaller (=normal) power/melodic metal band. But of course both will have their fans, so I don´t worry about their carreers. Maybe now is the time for all of them to finally start the things like they really want them to. In separate but maybe better ways. Now that was the stupidest stuff I've read about that issue so far. "Normal power / melodic metal band"? Nightwish barely has had anything to do with power or melodic metal after Wishmaster. And what kind of measure the success is? I know that you didn't mean that success equals to the quality of the music, but you really put it out so that it sounded like that As said, Tarja hasn't been in any rehearsals and she hasn't ever composed a single bit for the band. There will be NO such thing as Tarja's solo career in the future, she'll be forgotten in 3 years when people get bored to her christmas concerts. And that letter surely didn't give her a good reputation. Tarja fans are just the same kids who listen Britney and such, they'll forget about her in no time when there's a new idol to look up at. I agree that Tarja's voice belongs to Nightwish yes, but she isn't unreplaceable. I hope that Nighwish gets an opera -style singer again, since that teenpop -sound that Tarja had on the last 2 albums really wasn't for my taste. In fact, on Century Child it was plainly terrible. On Once (their best album IMO) it wasn't that bad anymore, but still. I also agree that Nightiwish won't be such a big name in the future anymore, but I concider that to be only a good thing. No gems for the pigs, or however that saying goes. Just my 5 cents for the discussion Edit: typos and stuff

I've been told that there is thousands of pages of that law. But who really has read it through? I'm sure that 90% of people didn't even know what they were voting - that's why it is a lot of easier to say no than yes... EDIT: I forgot: Funny that even there was vote in France, and people voted no, some authorities said that "we must vote again..." WTF? Aaand that's how the democracy works in the 21st century Europe The European Union will crash itself in the next 20 years for sure, there might even be civil wars and stuff in some countries. They're trying to make The United States Of Europe as soon as possible, and that's why they accept countries like Turkey and Romania to join the union, even they are really far from the mid-european countries what comes to finance and human rights. And strange how they had no information (propaganda!) for that law. As someone said, people don't even know what they're voting for. And "fundamental law" or something sounds bad already, no wonder that most of the people are against it. A law like that wouldn't work here anyway as it might work in The USA; there basically is no cultural differences for majority of their people comes from west-european roots. And if you look at Europe, you see that there are some huge differences between west and east, as well as between north and south. Allowing people to ride cow-pulled carts in Stockholm or making Italians actually drive as the laws say would just cause disasters über alles

This kind of fan post is good for Korpiklaani, I think it was a great post! It said: <inset the quote here> I think it's understandable enough, and I don't see the point of deleting this. Between brackets is the meaning of the French parts. Agreed. And since guests are allowed to post and start topics we can nothing but agree them. I mean, it doesn't hurt anybody if someone pops to the forum once in his / her lifetime and makes one post which will drop to the second page in a few days. Doesn't give too kind image of the band if someone deletes those My suggestion is that we allow only registered users to post on the forum, and we get a guestbook of some kind to the pages where people can leave these "Hi I'm for Batango and I like your music a lot!!" -comments.

Also note that totally meaningless and off-topic posts will be deleted from now on.
Now look what Southern Troll said: His english isn't perfect and he admits it, and still people can understand it really clearly. Just TRY to pay even a bit of attention to what you're saying. And quality over quantity, one day behaviour like that might lead to actual post limits. And no-one wants that, believe me.

If that's addictive, check Nanaka Crash. Somewhat similiar, but with dozens of more features
