That is hard to beleive. There should be more healthy eating outlets but also in mexico, because there people eat too sharply, unhealthily and with plentiful fat... but there it's more difficult because it's mexician-lifestyl/tradition... *more or less off-topic* *gomen*

Yeh I see where you are coming from. but I suppose it is up to the individual to eat healthily. My parents mainly cook vegitables and meat, so I am not complaining and My dad influences me to eat more fruit.

Polish food is the best! Bigos for example! So, a-propos globalisation. The European Union makes us many problems to cook our traditional dishes. It's a tourist attraction and noone ever made any problems, and noone, never got ill or poisoned from this.

Bigos for example! *off-topic?* this reminds me of a polish movie: in the 80's a black basketball-player arrived in poland and wanna have something to eat a waitress asked him if he want 'bigos' or 'kapuśniak' he didn't know both meals so he selected 'bigos' and the waitress put spongelike sauerkraut on his plate, than he changed his mind and required 'kapuśniak' so the waitress poured water over 'bigos', which became 'kapuśniak' ^^ *polish improvisation during communism is awesome*

Hmm, this might be a little bit off the topic (since the thread mostly concentrates on globalisation issues) but what I've heard is that in Finland, McDonald's is the ONLY fast food chain that actually uses Finnish meat for the products. So that would kind of, erm, make it "better" than the other chains, I guess. But this is just something I've heard, I am not sure whether or not it is true. Personally I have to admit, that after having quite a few alcoholic beverages, a sudden hunger comes, and you can usually find me in the line waiting for my double cheese burger.

But isn't it Hesburger that keeps advertising the 100% Finnish meat in their foods almost all the time as well? It might be though that it USED TO BE so that McDonald's was the only chain to use all Finnish meat, but who knows, that has probably changed. Looking at the websites of these two chains, they just say that they're trying to use Finnish incredients always when possible. So I guess I was wrong. Sorry. I feel so stupid now.

^^ *polish improvisation during communism is awesome* I think it's fine. It's some kind of folklore. That is still practising . There's many situations when we can't choose legaly way, because it costs much more. And de facto it's a result of EU orders. sometimes I think that they want to destroy us. And in that point I share my opinion with punks.
