I've never seen such potatoes ! In Belgium, potatoes are only used to make fries

A sweet potato is something totally different from a 'normal' potato, the confusion comes from the name. Sweet potatoes (in Dutch: bataat) are not used for the same receipes as potatoes, like fries, mash, etc. It is more like a vegetable, at least here in the northern countries. It is a slightly common exotic vegetable.
I had sweet potatoe a few times in soups, stews and pies, and never thought they were bad...

You can make regular potato things with sweet potatoes, they just end up being different. I had some really good sweet potato fries one time.

I think I'm the only Greek I know who hates olives.
I'd also like volunteer to help eating all those cakes. I might gain weight but it's for a good cause.

LOL! Anyone who needs to gain weight, certainly will from those! I made them and didn't even eat one! Too much sugar for me. I don't have a sweet tooth.
