Hello all! Well, I thought a new topic would not be a bad thing, and as I have some curiosity about the Korpiklaani CD, I felt this topic was not too bad an idea... This thread is meant for commenting/asking/(surely answering) any idea and opinion you may have about the CD itself... from the layout (which I find great) to the pics (which I find wonderful)... so let's start: here are my questions. 1. Where was the pic of the forest in the cover taken? Is it in the same surroundings that those of the pics? 2. What's the 'hidden' image on the pic under the CD? You know, in the pic on the other side of the back cover. 3. In the credits there appears the drummer Samu Ruotsalainen... if I'm not wrong, 'Ruotsalainen' is the finnish name for the letter å... what's the history behind this? Opinions? Questions?

1. Where was the pic of the forest in the cover taken? Is it in the same surroundings that those of the pics? Pics of the cover is not from the same place. Cover picture is taken near Helsinki. Band pics are taken in village called Järvelä. I lived in Järvelä then in little forest cottage. Our video is shooted in the same place.2. What's the 'hidden' image on the pic under the CD? You know, in the pic on the other side of the back cover. I don`t know but it looks like me It`s visions of artist Pekka Keskinen.3. In the credits there appears the drummer Samu Ruotsalainen... if I'm not wrong, 'Ruotsalainen' is the finnish name for the letter å... what's the history behind this? Samu Ruotsalainen is drummer of Finntroll and he played drums on the album as he did on Shamániac album also.

A great topic my more than bro Well, I had some questions, but right know I don't remember any of them. I remember there was some extrange thing on one of the photos that called my attention, but I don't remember what it was. But about the video, what's the place from where Hittavainen appears at the beginning? Is it the sauna or the toilet? And about the cottages, are they near or far from the village itself?I mean, are they outside the urban nucleus or inside? I love all this cottage stuff, I wish I could have one by the side of a lake... this is something I love from Finland... I've got to go to Finland!

The place from where Hittis comes beginning the video is little barn. A little place to grass and tools. My cottage was 7km from the village called Järvelä. Funny thing was then that my last name is Järvelä too ...they never gave me the mayor job there anyway...and yes, of course i was on the election list They said that maybe erection list is better place to man like me. I haven`t idea what they mean

3. In the credits there appears the drummer Samu Ruotsalainen... if I'm not wrong, 'Ruotsalainen' is the finnish name for the letter å... what's the history behind this? Ruotsalainen means "swedish" in finnish Å is named "Ruotsalainen O", "Swedish O".

It would be great Thanks for the info about the cabin where Hitta comes I thought it was the sauna or something lika that... yeah, I've never seen a sauna in my life So about the erection list where you fit more.... wouldn't it be that they are jealous of you for any reason? Well, gotta leave, my working day has ended, now starts my study day... what an interesting life I've got, I wish I could go to go to my house and touch my bollocks for the whole day! Bye dudes! I remember a song from an Spanish group called Megatron (a parodic band in which they laught at all the cliches sourrounding metal) in which they talked about the Metal Nation; the lyrics was in Spanish but I'll translate some verses I remember: Oftenly the Manowar comes to my neighbourhood and each time 400 poshies die under the beats of their axes, Ozzy Osbourne is chairman in the goverment and the police wear long hair and they make horns saluting me. I can't remember the rest, but it was very funny. So we've got to do as the puritans did when they went to the united states, and we've conquer a new territory firing off the inhabitants, and we can start with Järvelä; then we will spread our steeling kingdom of metal troughout the entire world! Long Live Heavy Metal!

The quote is taken of a Warcry´s sing called "Pueblo Maldito"(Damned Nation). I like this group a lot.
