What a language this guy uses... quote Korpiklaani is at least as cool as your typical cop-killing video game...at least yeah, what a competition!;D But it's a very original and positive review quote A unique, unforgettable record

Good review, but why do those trolls always show up? quote: Korpiklaani (which I believe means "Forest Clan" in the language of drunken trolls)

I don´t see trolls when I think of Korpiklaani. I see pirates back from battle(Or like Beowulf, totally killing those blasted trolls), blood smeared and rejoining their children and thanes in the mead hall their lordly king built for them and getting totally wasted on mead in massive goblets their peace-weavers gave to them. They´re all singing too!
Or Kitchen parties like they have in Newfoundland, getting drunk and playing fiddles in the kitchen!

We usually do so around a huge fire (in summer). But fiddling in the kitchen sounds also good! *When I think of Korpiklaani, I think of enourmous forests, wind whistling through the trees, a shy deer far away and dew drops falling in the fog. Then the sun sets and the first rays filter through the leaves and branches. At night when the moon shines its pale glow over distant silent trees, and under those trees it is pitch dark. You can only hear the sounds of the forest...* *but also...huge fires, partying, music (of course) and joy, lots of joy!*

Definitely joyous! Well Newfoundland isn´t Ontario and its not as dirty, save for the bubbles of Saint Johns..But the gallows are just as nice!
I was there for the first time last summer and I got an awesome hunting knife and for my boyfriend I got him a norse dagger, I felt like Beowulf or Freydis the Fierce!

Great!! The over and over positive reviews Korpiklaani gets are amazing, but still appropriate! This Joe will be excited when he discovers that there is a new release!

The little french I have left as allowed me to make this translation. Any french speakers are free to correct me. I haven't had or spoken any french for nigh on 7 years, so I'm bound to have made more than a few mistakes. Still, the general meaning is there. It's a positive review, though slightly ignorant. (he confused yoiking with american indian singing... a honest mistake.)
Here it is:
Korpiklaani comes from the land of great cold where it is important to keep yourself warm. Nothing better then that a folk metal that borrows from all the “music” of the world? Diving into a celtic folk with traditional instruments (Journey man, Fields in Flames), backed up by huge guitars and a deep voice that recalls beer and sauna (Beer Beer, Cottages & Saunas), the band introduces us into a world close with the forces of nature, as the album title implies, Voice of Wilderness, or songs like Spirit of the Forest or Pine Woods. All this is party-prone, together with the tales and legends (Old Tale, Native Land, in a huge whirlwind of contagious joy and feasting. All the world becomes a place of merriment, mixing traditional music and metal, from the Andes (the instrumental Pine Woods, to the country of the north-American Indians (Spirit of the Forest [note of trad: poor man doesn’t know yoking]), from songs for melancholically sailors (Native Land), to drinking songs (Beer Beer). But the band doesn’t forget their roots ("Ryyppäjäiset", "Kädet Siipinä"), inviting us to hunt in the great wild spaces (Hunting Song) that allows the group to show all it’s power in developing mainly fast tempos to great effect. Korpiklaani sometimes recall the best moments of Skyclad, always opening new horizons. Don’t let them go.
