The fragments on the sample are 'cut' by the sound of the stroke of an axe. If I use an axe, it doesn't sound like this, so I wondered: how is this sound made, sounds terrific by the way.

well, thanks for the explanation. It's just the right sound, never heard such an appropriate 'cut' between songs, very original!

I can think of several occasions ;D ;D ;D
but actually we (= group of good friends) are going to build a bronze- age farmhouse. We need a lot of trees and other stuff to do that. Besides an axe I even learned to use a scythe (to cut the reed for the roof).
Very nice to work together on such a project!

@twi... the bronze -age house is just for us (our group). Originally we would use it as a shelter with LARP, but it became a project in itself. ;D When I have more time, I will put the pictures of this project on a website 'the building of'. I will put a link in chitchat if you're interested, but that may take some time. We started to build a small cabin, we always called it the Korpiklaani-cabin (from the wooden pints vid), but our LARP-group grew faster than the cabin, that's why we decided to build something this big.
