You mean I haev to wait that long *does a desperate Homer dance* Sure! I know you all are desperately waiting for the new album and you all are willing to know already what's it all about. It's not wrong to be enthusiastic about something, but I hope you'd have a little bit more patience in this than continuous asking, asking and asking. Like I said a year ago: the more you're willing to wait, the more it'll pay you back as the CD is finally in your hands.

I'll answer you to same as I already answered Olli: Wait 'till the CD comes out, buy it, listen it - and then you'll get your answer! Maybe you can just close this thread so we stop asking naughty questions then? I don't understand why we can't ask questions about the album. *Of course* not everything can be answered now. *Of course* it doesn't make sense to ask the same question again and again and again and again, that would be frustrating for everyone. But there must be some things that already have answers, and aren't secrets! Now, can anyone tell me what 'Tervaskanto' means, or will I just have to wait until the album comes out?

Maybe you can just close this thread so we stop asking naughty questions then? I would have done it for a long time ago, if I'd seen a true reason for it. I don't understand why we can't ask questions about the album. *Of course* not everything can be answered now. *Of course* it doesn't make sense to ask the same question again and again and again and again, that would be frustrating for everyone. The reasons have already been explained for a many many times before, so I don't see any particular reason to repeat myself. And you sad for yourself: it's frustrating when people asks same questions over and over again. But there must be some things that already have answers, and aren't secrets! Sure, Sherlock! That's the reason why this topic has been founded in the first place. Of course one can ask questions, but one can use own common sense too, when asking some questions. Also one can discuss what one expects from the forthcoming album etc. etc. I think you got my point, so I don't explain any longer self-evident things concerning this issue. Now, can anyone tell me what 'Tervaskanto' means, or will I just have to wait until the album comes out? Tervaskanto is used term for a stump, which is full of tarr. Tarred stumps are good in a forest in order to ie. lighting a fire. Tervaskanto is also a synonyme for an old man who has lived a long life and experienced many things. One of the most used metaphores in Finnish language. EDIT: Finnish media Imperiumi has recently reported from a forthcoming album this way: "Following the successful festival performances and headliner tour 2006, KORPIKLAANI return to the task of producing new material.
The latest Finnish Folk Metal hymns are currently being recorded at Fantom Studios under the guidance of Samu Oittinen. The follow-up album to "Tales Along This Road" is scheduled for an April 2007 release and carries the title "Tervaskanto".

Virva, thanks for your answer but I still don't actually understand why some of the questions that have been asked can't be answered. It seems a straightforward, reasonable question to ask if you have been involved in lyric-writing for the new album. It hasn't been asked before. So I didn't understand why you said "stop asking, be patient." Also, it seems bizarre to expect us to discuss our expectations if we don't know any basics about the album. But perhaps I am on my own with my confusions and should keep silent. At least, it's a Korpi album so I expect to enjoy it! (Psst Jonne, I also expect a signed copy!)

Virva, thanks for your answer but I still don't actually understand why some of the questions that have been asked can't be answered. I've never said anything like "they can't be answered", so let's not put in my mouth the words what I've NOT said. I already explained to you that I don't prefer asking so many questions about the album that isn't out yet, as it's frustrating and impatient action. In other words, I only urged you to hold your horses and keep the feet on a ground. Nothing more, nothing less. Also, it seems bizarre to expect us to discuss our expectations if we don't know any basics about the album. You can't expect to get all the knowledge concerning the new album since only a little time has gone by from the announcement that new album will come out in the first place. But that doesn't count off the chance to discuss about your expectations, as I'm sure you do get some information in time little by little concerning the album from the band members as we have whole five months time in here, as you'll only be patient in asking questions. This shouldn't be too hard for you to understand. It seems a straightforward, reasonable question to ask if you have been involved in lyric-writing for the new album. It hasn't been asked before. So I didn't understand why you said "stop asking, be patient." Because such an impatient questions namely have been asked before - even immediately, since "Tales" album had just come out, so I do feel frustrating as people doesn't have patience to wait to get the CD and listen and hear it for themselves. And personally I want to keep these things as a little "secret" as long as possible, since I'm only thinking a listener, who might get much more out of it as he/she doesn't know that much about the CD. It's much more delightfull to get the "surprises" and "hooks" from the waited album without knowing too much beforehand. Personally I wouldn't definitely like if someone would tell me what to expect from the album I've so much waited for, that's for sure - thus I don't do it to others too. But since you didn't give me a choice of your pedantry, I'll answer: I've participated with the Finnish lyrics this time too. More information about it you won't get, not at least now. I'm sure the songlist will come out before the album - then we can continue this discussion. I wish I've now explained thoroughly enough my point so that everybody understands it. If there's yet something that's unclear for somebody, I'll recommend sending some PM and not to continue in this thread. Over and out.

Will Korpiklaani one day play in ***?Korpiklaani will come and play to *** and they will come as soon as someone in *** books them and pays travel costs, hotels, beers, boozes, ciders, meats, beers, sausages, beers and boozes+beers.

I meant that it is difficult to find their cd's here in Canada It is also very difficult to find Korpiklaani here though, since they are not here If I win some money then I book Korpiklaani to come here and play, that would be amazing. It is more likely that I will be heading to Finland to see them play though.
