I don't get the idea of this topic... Would it be a topic where we can talk about our personal thoughts about korpiklaani, like what it means to us? Thesekind of sensitive bla bla bla's doesn't really fit to the music section This was just a suggestion for some use for this (useless) topic.

OMG!!! KORPIKAANI RULLZZZZ! I WANT JONNE'S GUITAR OMG! hehe sorry, but I just had to do it.... ...and now to my actual post: Why I like Korpiklaani's music, you ask? Well, Korpiklaani's music blends two distinctive styles of music together that I love; metal and traditional instruments with folk music The fiddle music is great, congrats Hitta. So is the accordian music, and nice touch with the shaman drum. I like the subject matter of the band and the songs...war...shamanism...folklore... Some of my favorite songs are: Pellonpekko, Kaedet Siipinae (interesting song about that war), and Beer Beer of course, every time I listen to it I want to party haha. A friend had recomended Korpiklaani to me since I already liked bands like Moonsorrow, Menhir, and such. Korpiklaani should do a song with a kantele, that would be cool.

Why I like Korpiklaani?
It is just the band which hits my preferred sounds the best. The composition of folk music and rough guitars in combination with these vocals, then speedy songs with lots of melody, really great.

Korpiklaani should do a song with a kantele, that would be cool. Kuuraparta could you help us ? Mr. Holtiton is already playing kanteles on Korpiklaani's songs, but if I'm ever needed to play in a part or another, may the band members themselves just let me know and I'll see what I can do, heh. Why don't you release a Korpiklaani cover with the kantele in a Nostatus album ? I don't do cover songs at all in general; that's just not my cup of tea, and the last thing I'd do is to include anything such in the albums of my very own, thus apologies for my part in this subject. At this point all my concentration goes completely into working with my own material only. Co-operations with other bands are always possible of course, but I'd prefer that kind of matters to be managed through a bit different circumstances.

I mean, this is ment for all the new people who introduced themselves here...I'm a bit drunk...hahaaha,sorry if I don't make a lot of sense...I don't know why I like this f*band!I like folk pagan metal in general(Wintersun,Finntroll,Einherjer,Thyrfing,Cruachan,Satarial...)and I like ethno. But,when I first saw them on the video,me and my fellowship felt kind of connected to those savagers...we didn't have any of their albums at the time, but we chose their Wooden pints as our hymn...I really don't know why...hmmm

Kädet Siipinä has kantele in it? hmm...i mistook it for guitar, my appologies. It is one of my favorite songs..seriously you have no idea how much I play this song haha. Although, I meant can Korpiklaani do a song with just kantele and vocals, or do you already have a song like that on the new album?

Yes, we will leave the "just kantele & vocals" music for Poropetra & Nostatus. They do it far better than we can ever do but it is nice to get a chance to use their talents with Korpiklaani also

Kädet Siipinä has kantele in it? hmm...i mistook it for guitar, my appologies. How on earth there's possible to mix kantele and guitar in the first place..? Well, we're humans after all.. "Kantele" is written in the booklet also. I mean, this is ment for all the new people who introduced themselves here... As already told many times before in the topic: This topic is meant to discussion why do you all like Korpiklaani and what it means to you.[/u] There's " Introduce yourselves here" - topic separately in this board. I'm a bit drunk...hahaaha,sorry if I don't make a lot of sense... Writing in drunk is not suitable, namely because it doesn't make sense.

Someone has opened the topic whatever he/she likes, and then everybody wonder what's going on with this topic. That's why it's suitable to open thread well with some sense.
