On the main site I read:
I don't check the site very often, always go straight ahead to the forum. Don't know about all of you, but since I never saw something about this, I posted this message here also.
I would like to wish Arto all the best in militairy service. It's a pity we won't see him in the 'wild tour'.
I would like to wish Jarkko good luck in playing in such a great band!

I really really enjoy Arto's style of play, simple yet very effective and precise. However, I'm sure the guys have chosen a good replacement for him.
Best of luck to Arto and Jarkko, each in his own way.

Best of luck to Arto and Jarkko, each in his own way. Second. I hope this doesn't affect the band's spirit in any way...

Did Jarkko have his first gig with Korpiklaani yesterday? If so, how did it go?

Well, a topic about me and my predecessor! What can I say? Not much. Anyway, I can't really comment on how I've changed the band's spirit since obviously I wasn't there to feel the previous spirit. At least I can say that I've felt very welcome into the band and I've had great time so far! Saturday's gig was actually my second gig with the band. The first one was at Raahe a week earlier. I think they both went pretty well, at least I think so. Raahe's gig was a bit difficult because I couldn't really hear Hittavainen's violin on stage. For some reason I found the violin to be a very defining factor on many of the songs we have in the set right now. Imatra gig on Saturday was a lot better though. Maybe because we had our own man behind the mixing board. But it was just too fucking hot in the club. 30C degrees outside and probably 50+ on the stage with 250 people crammed inside the club. I had a picture of my bass printed on my shirt after the gig. Printed with my own sweat. The next gig is in my current home town Tampere in early August with probably lots of my friends coming to see us. That should be fun. And in the meantime we'll start rehearsing some new material. I don't think this info was confidential, or was it? Jonne? Am I fired now?

It`s no thrash as you can see:
taken from the Metaleater- interview: Jonne said:
"Currently I have some kind of thrash metal boom going on in my head - TESTAMENT, KREATOR and bands like that. Music that I listen to won't affect the music that I write that much. So don't worry, the next KORPIKLAANI album won't be some kind of thrash metal album!"
"By the way, we are already booked the studio time. It will start in December of this year, so you have a new KORPIKLAANI album in your hands again in Spring 2006."
