I was in Hamburg yesterday! It was a really great concert! Jonne maybe remember the small boy in the corner, in front of Juho, who knew all the lyrics ^^! I'm a big fan, since less than a year and it was unbelievable, to see my favourite band! The room was small, but the guys rocked!!! But why is a part of the antlers broken off?! I don't now, what to write here, I just wanna say, Jonne is a great entertainer, Juho too, and all the others!! I hope to see you soon again!!

I read this, written by humppaporo. It describes the same, I felt, when I stand in front of the stage.
"Jonne was extremely charismatic and vivid on stage, continuously busy with singing and playing and interacting with the audience in a unique way. Cane did roughly the same, was also very involved by the audience, which valued that tremendously! Juhokusti seemed very serious and played very concentrated. Same goes for Jarkko. Both had their moments of interaction but were obviously more involved in playing. Hittavainen is a chapter in itself to watch, he seems very concentrated but was also involved in the interaction with the public, very excellent player! Most undervalued man in the band must be Matson, hidden behind his huge instrument he is hardly visible (as goes for all percussionists), but I saw the enormous enthousiasm and dedication with which he played the drums in a great and utterly rhythmic way!"
All who stand in the room, waiting for the band heard "Tales along the road". all were talking, but i just sat there, already rockin' to the songs of the new album. It's great! I can just recommed everyone, to go to a concert of this band! Cheap, great music, musicians, who have obviously fun, when they're playing, wow ... ^^

I went to Korpiklaani for the 3th time today. This time (the netherlands) they didn't play in the little "room" called The Goudvishal, but they played in the 013. It was really great, the new songs are just as awesome as the old ones This concert from Korpiklaani was better than the other 2 because of a bigger stage with better sound and lightning! But still it wasn't too big so it was nice. Thanks a lot and I'll see you again on Wacken Open Air ;D

Although this was ny first time to see Korpiklaani, I felt this would have beaten past gigs.
The support act, Thronar, was very good, the audience was starting up. When Korpiklaani came, with the opening of Journey man, in 2 seconds everyone was moving...
Good ambiance, good music, perfect time!

Here is a review of the Tilburg gig from my friend, The Viking. Another Korpi fan in the making. (Well, maybe. Don't quote me on that!) One day I will get to Europe to see a show for myself *green with jealousy*

Ooooh, I carried a big smile upon my face the whole evening yesterday! This because of the amazing Thronar/Korpiklaani gig. We we're waiting in the batcave to enter 'de kleine zaal' when suddenly Korpiklaani passed by, we shook hands and I was wondering if they still recognised us from the last gig in Arnhem when we played as support act. But they did! Thronar played a very good live show, and some people already started to jump around, too bad they didn't find a good clean vocalist yet, because their songs are much more bombastic with clean vocals. And then Korpiklaani: What can I say... One big party! With good lights and sound, it gave somehting extra to the show. So what has yesterday evening offered me: A recognition by Jonne A meeting with some friends A meeting with humppaporo Much sweat A sore neck (because of headbanging) Much jumping Much joy and the whole evening: A radiating Janneke (at least, my dad told me when I got home) I want to thank Korpiklaani for this night! See you on Wacken!

I was at the Tilburg gig yesterday and it already is one of my favourite concerts of 2006 ;D The place was kind of crowded, dark and sweaty, but that actually just contributed to the great atmosphere. The band were doing a great job, as ever, and my friend and I grinned all the way home ;D The new songs are excellent by the way (good for dancing )!
