when I read the Reviews of the Albums, the concerts, interviews or things like that I just can say, Korpiklaani are the biggest Scandinavian up riser of this and the last year. When you go at google.com and ask for korpiklaani, you get 513.000 answers and it's getting more, every day!! It's a great new facet of Folk Metal music. Every Day, i try to show my friends the music, it's difficult, to advance them to such a music, but some seem to like it really! we all here know, that korpiklaani is a great band, but just an "insider-tip". And the should get more attention, like Mägo de Oz, Otyg ore bands like these. But when Korpiklaani plays in small clubs, like in Hamburg, it's a more friendly atmosphere and I like that! I want to see Korpiklaani as one of the famousest Folk-Metal bands in the history, but never as a band with - In Germany we call it - Möchtegern-Fans, Fans, who want to show, that they are Fans, but aren't really ... I hope, you understand what I wanted to say. Korpiklaani: Rock through the forests, through the cities, through the countries, forever! But never forget the particulars Fans ^^

(http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skandinavien) Shortly in English: I just told that you can't say Korpiklaani is a SCANDINAVIAN band because (the usual thing one has to tell people again and again...) Finland isn't part of Scandinavia due to its totally different culture and language.

I just want to thank you for the awesome gig yesterday in Marburg. The audience was not that good as in Cologne or Ludwigsburg but nevertheless: great show.
See you tomorrow in Montabaur!!

I am new here in the forum but I wanted to drop some lines. I really enjoyed the show in Marburg though someone needs to teach these teenage girls how to party up front ;-). For me, the show was a blast though. So, I saw the band twice in 5 days ... how much better can it get? *g* Someone posted the Ragnarök setlist ... I hope I'm not taking away anyone's job if I post the Marburg setlist for I could grab the sheet from stage:
1. Journey Man 2. Väkirauta 3. Happy Little Boozer 4. Korpiklaani 5. Pellonpekko 6. Spirit of the Forest 7. Cottages and Saunas 8. Spring Dance 9. Wooden Pints 10. Tulikokko 11. Fields in Flames 12. Juokse sinä humma 13. Hunting Song 14. Beer Beer 15. Encores: Before the Morning Sun, Pine Woods, Rise, Il lea voibmi
I've been listening to Korpiklaani all day. It's an addiction I tell you. I hope everyone else will enjoy the tour as much as I did.

Welcome! I think the setlist is the same at all gigs, seems also logical. And yes, Korpiklaani is a great party every time! I saw only two gig this time, unfortunately it's often too far away and I have other obligations. So, I envy all of you who can visit more! Sankarihauta: also welcome, was inevitable that you would show up here ;D

Yeah, it makes sense that the setlist is the same though I am not sure if the encores were like this at the Ragnarök festival. My festival memory is blurred ;-). The gig in Marburg was really cosy compared to the festival. I dragged along 5 people who had no idea what they could expect. That was a full success because I could win 5 new fans and the merchandising could sell more shirts. Ahhhh, I just wanna turn back the time and have it yesterday night again.

I was at the Gig in Marburg too, and the only thing I've got to critise is that it was too short. Next time they should play the whole night through. *g*
Well, no, it was a great gig, one of the best I've ever seen.
Thanbls for the Setlist, Runenmeisterin
