I was at the gig in Konstanz. It was very very very cool now I hope to see Korpiklaani in Moscow in May! I have a question: At the end of the show they played a cover song called "Sukat" or something like this. Does somebody know what band performed this song originally? Is it possible to get this song somehow? I mean the Korpiklaani version.

Is it possible to get this song somehow? I mean the Korpiklaani version. That was a song of the legendary finnish rock'n'roll band Popeda. Original title is "Sukset (vaikeata tämä hiihtäminen)". We played it two times in the soundcheck and once on the stage so, there is no official Korpiklaani version of it. Thanks to everybody from the merch boy. I really had a kick ass tour. See you all soon. Sampsa, Merch boy

You were the one doing the merchandising? Geez, I left all my money with you in Marburg. I am such an addict if it comes to shows and buying stuff there ... especially concerning Korpiklaani.

That song is so cool. Fast and punky, I would say. I'd love to get the live version.

Yeah, let's talk about Svidgar! Lol, we played as support act for Korpiklaani the 27th of November 2005 here in Holland, it was very cosy backstage with Korpiklaani and we had a lot of fun, unfortunately, the gig itself wasn't the best we played ever, my synth dropped out a few times and we were very nervous because we didn't played very much gigs at that time, and playing for 400 people is no peanuts when you're just a starting band... Ah well, we were glad we got the opportunity, it was a real honour to play together with Korpiklaani

Thronar was the support act of 2nd of april 2006.
It's a battle metal band. They were quite good, but the synthesizer was a bit late avery time... That's a pity because the music should be made complete by the synthesizer... (But I think you (Svidgar) got a more important position for synth, but however) So the effect was a bit spoiled by the late synth. Nevertheless the gig was nice.

How good some support acts may be, imo this thread is not the place to discuss those. Start a new thread about it in one of the 'other things you wish to share' section.
