I was watching the bonus DVD that came with Tervaskanto with a few friends of mine, and they wondered something. How did you come up with puting antlers on your mic stand?

I've wondered the same thing and also wondered - are they real antlers, or fake? Because I imagine real antlers must be quite expensive...?

I got antlers from Niiles-Jouni Aikio, who is grand dad my oldest son. He has Lapland full of reindeers, so it is not so big deal or expensive for him. Actually we were meeting him with Cane when we had a gig there in Lapland few years ago and he was proud about those big antlers. He wanted give me those. We decided with Niiles-Jouni, he would join to yoik some songs during our set in Levi HulluPoro Arena at night. We put those antlers to the mic as a joke for Niiles-Jouni before the gig at sound check. I think it was a good joke, so there the antlers are still. Those first antlers, which you can see on the bonus dvd are now on the wall of Masters of Rock Cafe at Zlin.

I have two questions:
1. Do you try to write songs that are very catchy? Or do they just happen to turn out that way?
2. If you were not in Korpiklaani, what would you be doing?

I always delete the songs which I think aren't catchy. Maybe we just have pretty same kind of taste of music... I know many people, who thinks the songs are not catchy at all. 2. Maybe same as now but without the guitars. Drinking with these guys all the time.

Thanks Jonne!
I can't believe that people don't think that 'Klaani songs are catchy! That's one of the many things that make this band so great!
