But mr. Putin seems to have some attitude. Imagine those little black moustache to his face, and you'll get almost 'the real thing'! ;D ;D ;D Are these the first serious words of Hitta on this forum? Nevertheless hope everything will be fine

Dave, in my country the good shape of Aznar was created. The only reason for it I can suppose is that our president Putin's gonna do the same Is Zapatero better? Sorry for answering with two days delay Well, your question is not an easy one, we can't talk about if Zapatero is doing right or wrong just 9 months after he won the ellections, but... well, I voted for him, he is the leader of Socialist party in Spain, and I declare myself a socialist; the problem with Spanish socialist party is that their principal members are a bunch of burgoises; Is funny to hear a guy saying that he's socialist when you see he has a Rolex watch; nowadays I don't think there's too much differences between socialism and the so called "centre-right" parties; the only difference, which is what makes me vote for socialist is that they have better social programs, with free education, an impulse for social security etc; it's funny that during the eight Aznar years they gave more money to Private schools than to the public ones; at least I know that with a socialist party this won't be like that, you know? So, going back to your question... I strongly desire that Zapatero will be better; at least, in the 8 months he has had power he has impulsed some reforms which I think were very important, as increasing the money for public services, or bring back our troops from Irak; also in exterior polithics I think Spain is doing well, with a very good minister. But, if there's one thing that I know is that there's no politician able to do it good always, so he will have mistakes, and I hope these mistakes won't be so big as Aznar's. I strongly think that a socialist party will always do it better for me than a right party, because in theory a social party wants the equality, not as the righ hand party; but, since I know that sooner or later they will steal and as Cez said, power corrupts, I just want to say that I preffer I thief which takes my money away but whileon he builds new schools and sanity centers, than a thief that takes my money away, spit on my face, calls the police to knock me down and gives my money to his friends the owners of big economical empires and to the church.

Well, actually I don't know it very well, sorry ;D This makes me realize that I'm a stupid, 'cos I always say I'm fucking proud of being madrileño, but I don't know the meanning of the Oso y el madroño. But, doing a bit of google research I can tell you that it is actually a female bear. She is eating from the tree madroño (strawberry tree I've found in the dictionary, although a madroño has nothing to do with strawberries) If anyone wants to see a pic of it www.fotomadrid.com/ver.php?id=565 This is the Oso y el madroño statue in La Puerta del Sol, a central square in Madrid where the people go minutes before new year's entrance to eat 12 grapes while the bell of the clock gives 12 rings. Moreover, this square is the 0 kilometer of national Spanish roads. Appart from the statue and the clock, there's also an statue of King Carlos III, which was called the best mayor of Madrid because he did a lot of buildings and big streets in Madrid while he was the King of Spain. I've got to take a picture of me in El Oso y el Madroño and post it here, I'll try this christmas, ok?

Our main square - Red Square - is the same with yours! There is also 0-kilometre of our roads. Many people go there to celebrate the entrance of New Year. The only difference - they don't eat grapes but drink champaign. This photo is so nice! So sunny!! It's snowing in Moscow

Ok, I'll try to convince my frineds to go there during the holidays and I'll shoot a pic... although I can't promise and neither I can pormise it will be a good one; usually La Puerta del SOl is full of people, but during christmas even more, because this zone is one of the more comercials one in Madrid, and there's a lot of people doing the shopping. But it's a great place which I like very much in Christmas... don't know why, but I like it a lot with all the lightning etc. I'll try to go and send some pics, ok? Interesting thing this of the Red Square, I suppossed it was a very important one, but didn't know that it was also the 0 km. It's great to learn this kind of things

And you forgot "In Extremo". I've heard them this year for the first time (album "SUnder ohne zUgel"). It's wonderful!!! They should win with Korpiklaani in the nomination "The opening of the year"

And you forgot "In Extremo". "In Extremo" are too much "techno" for me meanwhile! They`ve been much more folk some years ago...

While I don't know their works exactly I can't argue with you, but the album I talked about didn't appear techno to me

Oh yes! Saltatio Mortis are great!
Further realy cool bands from Germany:
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter Equilibrium Helangar Menhir XIV Dark Centuries
Hmmm. Maybe not really folk, rather pagan. And it seems to me, 'Die Reiter' make nearly everything. But great!
