Great pics, Southern! DO you play in a band? Squeak, I guess what Leitisdal meant with the theme of music collection was not pissing around that question, but that in fact he didn't know how many cd's he had. He could have ignored it, yeah, but you know, sometimes when a person starts doing one thing, the rest try to imitate this person, and that's why he maybe answered that question. So please, don't think he was trying to demean you in any way, ok? By the way, I have uploaded some new pics to my page, so her you have againd the link for all of you to see: public.fotki.com/DaveRake/davey_jones/Have a nice weekend! Kisses and peace to all of you

I also think, Leitisdal didn´t complain, it was more rethoric, I guess (because it really doesn`t matter... some people get 5000 CDs for free as they work for TV or whatever, others work hard to afford themselves 5 CDs or sth./ but that doesn´t say anything about anyone`s love for the MUSIC... or esp. metal)... I just think, with this sentence he gave a reason for not answering it with exact numbers or sth. ... maybe I would have written the same... 2.) Funny pics, DaveTheRake! First I was shocked, seeing those pics of you in a strange bed... thinking "Why does that man use make-up?", but after seing the other pics it came to my mind, that it might have been some CorpsePaint from the evening before! ;D

Yes Dave I didn't think of it that way. But if he and Twi don't like the question, don't answer it. I wasn't trying to "state" anything. even though I have that many cds, I bought a good 2/3 of them and I am not the type of person with a lot of money either. That doesn't matter. I asked it just in case there is someone I can ask if they have a certain cd or something or ask what kinds of stuff they have in their collection or shit like that. THAT is all I was saying. You guys took it out of context. I'm not trying to "prove" anything. I think it's interesting to see other people say that they still own LPs. I don't know many people like that. Get what I mean now? Just leave the question out in future posts if it bothers people that much. All I was trying to do is give an idea since no one else would. Trying to get people to TALK on this forum.

I asked it just in case there is someone I can ask if they have a certain cd or something or ask what kinds of stuff they have in their collection Or YOU could give US recommendations which records are the best, as you have most CDs of all of us I guess. That would be something very positive regarding this question (and I never said, I don´t like any of your questions... I don´t care about them... I would post my own facts, if I post here some day... I just wrote my opinion about something that Dave wrote here before, to support his statement.. please don´t mix that up.. . there was nothing negative in it.... you want us to talk... well, with topics like this we ARE talking ... and now please stop bothering, no one of us wants to do any harm to you.... we`re just stating OUR opinions, like you can state YOURS everytime... as this is an official music-forum!)

@ Raul - you asked if the MUSIC COLLECTION was relevant. All I did is start the thread that no one else will and included some things to comment on. I didn't say you HAD to answer any of them, it was just an idea of an outline that has worked on other forums I'm on. If there's something you don't want to answer, then leave it out. Oh, sorry, Squeak! It was, as Twilightheart has pointed, some rethoric, and maybe a bad word choice. I really think you did a good job proposing those ideas and starting the thread!! Hope you don't get it amiss. Cheers!

Great pics, Southern! DO you play in a band? I had a band last year but we have problem with smoe members and the band is over! But i'm searching for new musicians! I have a Brazillian/Portuguese folk project in mind! I'll try to mix Heathen Metal and Folk songs from first portugueses and indian songs! I'm searching for Ancient portuguese and Tupi-Guarani texts! That's funny cause the Ancient portuguese is like spanish more than today!

Well, Southern Troll, I can assure you that Leitisdal and me know perfectly well how it feels that a band is almost broken 'cos of one of the members; the important thing is to never surrender, and let things take its time; that's what we are doing with Into Dark Ways; by the way, this band was in a doom metal style. It sounds great what you're trying to do with your band; it may be something similar to what Sepultura did with Roots? well, I suppose the style would be less thrassy maybe? Anyway, a great idea. And yes, old portuguesse would be easy for spanish, although I suppose it will be more related to old spanish than nowadays Spanish. DO you know that there is a region in Spain whose dialectical language is very very similar to Portuguesse? Bye man, salutes from Spain!!!

First I was shocked, seeing those pics of you in a strange bed... thinking "Why does that man use make-up?", but after seing the other pics it came to my mind, that it might have been some CorpsePaint from the evening before! ;D Hi Twilightheart! I'm happy you've enjoyed my pics About the bed pics, in fact they were taken just two hours after the party did start ;D They were taken more or less at 23.30, I get drunk too early, jaja. Something strange took place that night, 'cos first a girl fell ill at 22.00. then I get totally drunk with just a Jack Daniel's cup and after me it came our drummer who just suddenly appeared at the bed where I was... and his pics are worse 'cos he was disguised as a psycho-killer clown! ;D. It was really a great (and drunky) time. Leitisdal was also on that party, so maybe he can tell you better than me, I hardly remember I was trying to get disguised as the guy in the film The Crown, but I don't know what they put on my face, I guess it was this dust people put on eyelids... I don't know, but you can imagine how handsome I looked the morning after on the train, with my hair like that, my face still maked up and my head like a drum!

Thank the Gods that you finally said IT WAS A DISGUISE PARTY! because I'm sure people were thinking that you Dave are a HIGHLY WEIRD GUY! It was not CorpsePaint, it's that Dave was disguised as The Crow. Am I the only who feels terror of that frightful smile of Dave in the pic? Well it was certainly a hell of a party! Just two remarks: ONLY a cup of whiskey??? Liar! Liar!!! Dave certainly raised his pint more than one time that night. The last one, if I'm not wrong was a mix of ten distinct spirits... He began to smile weirdly and laugh, and then he went to the bed of the couple who organised the party and sit holding his head with his hands, all while another drunkard dressed as The Exorcist Girl jumped and screamed in the bed... but I'm not sure everybody is interested in our parties so I better shut up. Anyway there was someone with a video camera. Some day I'll MPG and upload it so tge Spanish section attains universal shame.

Nice pics Tomi and Southern Troll! Thanks!! Tomi: how and when did you meet those two guys?? I love Amorphis, by the way. I met Esa after Amorphis' show in Zürich last November. They were support for Paradise Lost. Esa, Niclas and Tomi showed up in the Club for a beer after their gig. When I saw them I was running outside to my car to get 2 Vinyl albums from my collection and a camera. Then I went back inside and asked they guys to sign my records. I also talked a bit with Niclas. The guys were so cool and friendly. It was a great experience! Amorphis is my favourite band next to Metallica. The pic with James Hetfield was taken in Arnhem, Holland, last december. Me and some friends followed the band for 7 gigs in Germany, Switzerland, Holland + Belgium while they were touring europe. I'm a member of their fanclub since '96 or so, and was lucky enough to win a meet+greet with the whole band. They do the the M+G before every show with about 15 club members. I waited 10 years for this opportunity and finally my dream came true! I was so happy! ;D When I was in Cologne (Germany) I even saw James walking on the streets with his bodyguard. Pretty cool...
