It is so that everyone want to find his/her real luck, but i think it is hard to find it cause the life is hard. First you have to find yourself to be really happy IMO. Once i read a book about Finding yours luck from the Dalai Lhama. it helped me very much but it is difficult to be honest to yourself. metalmaiden: for everyone there is a real love. Dont searching for it - be yourself and let happen what will happen. I also was very sad that i didnt found someone who understand me and who i really love but now i think i have found what i need!! Live your life and be happy when someone is coming to you to be your real love!! It can take years but also only days!!! ^^

@varjo: you are among the lucky ones! After so many bad years, I tend to live by the day. I stopped phantasizing about what the future will bring. Most things I once expected didn't happen. So I try to build a future without any real expectations about how things are going to be. Guess this is some sort of self-protection. Of course one of the main goals is to be happy, and to make beloved people around you happy. Siddharta Gautama stated that you can only be free (and happy) if you have no longings anymore. In a way it is true, in another way, you are a little dead then. The future is build from parts of yesterday, today and tomorrow, but where the path will end is not really foreseeable. I think everyone should do as he feels he has to. Trust your feelings! Don' expect too much, but try to do things you really want, and most important: be yourself, let no-one intervene with that. Don't change too much, out of love. Asiani ongelmiksi muuttuivat vasta, kun toiset niihin puuttuivat!

Already have the love thing sorted, shame about the distance and the language thing. metalmaiden, dont go looking for love, it will find you. Once you've found that one person right for you, you'll know. Trust me. Also, I have a strange desire to move to Finland, it being where the other half is. And the fact England becomes more like America everyday and I hate it. And I miss the forests, and the hirvi warning signs

@hklfc: its a shame that many countries getting like America. I also see it here in Germany. Its sad to see that the people dont remind their history.......also that all the nature is dieing out......
Maybe the humans will notice that when we havent any nature anymore.....but then it will be too late. Finland is great with all the lakes and forests....i hope that this wont change!!!!

@ varjotuuli : I hate the way everyone has to copy America, its so cold and shallow. They take face value, they don't learn to love what's underneath, and that's what matters. I have to admit, where I live, it has changed rastically in the past 5 years. Used to be so many woods and fields to explore, thats why I love Finland so much, it reminds me of UK when i was little. And I hope Finland doesnt change either, the unspoilt beauty and mysticism it holds....hmmm pagan side in me coming out lol

I cleaned this topic a little from offtopic - discussion. Please, people try to keep this thread up to date and discuss of things that header says. If you're about to expand your discussion ie. to "lands coming more and more the same as America", feel free to start a separate topic about it.

I'm definitely way too big of a dreamer...but who cares!? Dreaming is fun! My dreams in life are to become part of like a worldwide promoting company of some sort, or become involved with touring with some bands and shit like that. It's definitely my number one passion, considering music really occupies my whole life in itself, since my job is promoting...so there's no getting away from the metal...I'd love as well, as Olli said, to have a couple beers and meet Korpiklaani, that'd be absolutely incredible! I might be as privileged as to be able to go backstage with Children Of Bodom coming up soon, as well. I think that'd make my life complete haha. I mean, I have met and hung out with a fuckload of bands as it is, but I get so attached to new ones every second because everyone's telling me to check out new shit to get them into town for a couple shows, so it's hard to keep track of who I'd actually really enjoy meeting next...

I have few goals in life, it keeps things less complicated: To stay with my wonderful girlfriend forever To come out of college with good marks and find a decent job. Live a comfortable life, I don't need riches or fame. Learn to play an instument of some sort. Travel to a small number of places I've always wanted to go.

Agh I WANT TO MOVE TO FINLAND TOO!!!! Heheh anyway.... over the course of my life my specific desires have changed over and over again... like my above statement as an example... when I was 16 or so, before I ever traveled anywhere, I wanted to stay in NYC forever... and now of course my desire is completely different... The point is, I have loosened my grip on specific desires, childhood dreams, etc. because I have found that life can be so fickle. BUT, I have not lost desire or passion due to this, not at all!! Over the years I have come to love life so much, and my passion in life is simply to have the most interesting, exhilerating, joyful, and influential existence I possibly can have... I wish to experience different places, different states of perception, different ways of thinking and being... just to delve into the richness of life... and I wish to give back, as well... the people I admire most are musicians, artists.... they creative and give of themselves something so valuable, that life would be so much less without them... and so I wish to give to people as they have given to me... whether it be through my art, or joy of life, or anything else...
