Don't worry, if I'll have time before the day of my death, I'll travel along Poland too... and the rest of Europe, of course

Passions, one of my favorite topics. As odd as this may sound, I would consider passion itself as one of my passions. Our passions move us and make up who we are, it is our driving force and what keeps us together. I admire what people care about, and I respect their dedication, even if I may not hold the same passions or agreement, so long as it keeps them striving for something better is what matters the most. My passions span many ranges. My most profound ones though are hand-made craftsmanship, music, philosophy, and fellowshipping. Music, as cliche as that may be for one to have as a passion, is a passion for most everyone with great reason. I have grown a good amount of musical ability over the years and have developed the ability to pick up any instrument and even if I am not prodigy, I can at least write something enjoyable on it. My goal is to acquire as many traditional european instruments as possible and learn how to play them so I can incorporate them in any one of my musical projects. I would also love to find a group of fellow musicians with similar passions and tastes as myself to play music with. I've been an isoalted musician and individual for most of my life, and as much as I Love that it would be nice to have someone to play with. Elaborating on craftwork: anything hand-made from various periods. Blacksmithing, Casting, Woodburning, Woodcarving/Working, Craftsmanship from the american pioneer days, jewelry making, embroidery, etc. I have delved in Woodburning for the past few years, and a couple years ago got my own forge for blacksmithing, and doing these things are so amazing. The ability to take natural materials, including those as strong as can be, and to shape them to your wills accord is something very powerful. Mixing this in with my music, I also wish to learn instrument making, all done traditionally and with as little modern equipment as possible. Not because I hate technology, but I personally feel more empowered by hardwork and traditional methods. Travel is another big one, but it is the one I have never been able to do much of. I hope to travel throughout Europe, talk with as many natives as possible, learn as many langauges as possible, and then use the knowledge I've gained to further educate their understanding wherever it is I decide to settle down. Growing up in a city in america I haven't been exposed to much culture, and to me culture is one of the most important things any tribe of any country has, so it is my goal to experience as many cultures as possible, up close and personal. I have so many more I could go on and on about, but this should be good for now. If any of you share even any of these same passions, feel free to PM me. I'm always glad to make new friends and discuss passions.

I myself consider passion a key element in life....the connection between our thoughts/wishes and our actions. That's a true desire for life...

My one and only passion to be lead singer in Australia's first Black Folk Metal band, like a mix between Ensiferum, Finntroll and Korpiklaani. Music is my passion and that's the thing I will follow untill the day I die.

Many passions and many desires that come and go very quickly! Far too many to list here and maybe not the appropriate place! LOL! ;D As of this moment my greatest desire is to actually finish writing any of the stories I am working on!!! To complete a whole world with maps and lively characters. They are all running around in my head and I desperately need to get them down on the paper!

I have two passions in my life! Music and History! By this way, I desire, be a musician, play in a band (Im Violonist and Lyrical Singer) , recording news song, go on tour around the world....I've a band, Sköl, based in Geneva, but nothing is ready for show, right now! ^^ And for live my life, eat, I just want to be a tourist teacher ( I don't know really the good word for this...) in the museum. Make visits for tourists, explain everything about the expo and wonders in the museum. Finally, I love travelling. My futur Tour is an evidance: I love take somes reservation, print the maps and the goods informations, make a several organisation to be perfect on tour or travel. And when is time to go, I love take my bag, my mind, my Ipod and just go. Leave my normal life, his troubles and the Switzerland to go everywhere. And if I have my Violin with me, is better!

My three passions- music, love, and figuring out how the human mind works. I will always be home as long as I have my guitar, and my music to comfort me. One of my life goals is to also find my soul mate... And I am very interested in psychology, specifically early childhood development. I guess I will just be happy with the path life leads me down

Hemmelig, don't you mean soul mates? The concept of soul mates to me spans all areas of life: friends, tutors, students, and of course Love. On the lattermost is the one naturally we are most picky about, because it is the most intimate of partners who get to know the ins and outs of everything and thus need to be as great of partners as possible. I can say I am lucky to have found a handful of individual who I consider soul mates, very dear friends who I had an immediate connection that breaks through mere basic attraction and spans towards spiritual realms and confines of the soul. Although I have yet to run into that special someone (or at least for that connection to come about in a being I already know) I too keep that with me at all times. I've always been passionate for romantic concepts, yet my isolated and hermit-like mentality makes it so hard for me to find anyone acceptable who can tolerate my stubbornness and understand my need for alone time. Perhaps I should carry the rest of this to "friends and relationships" thread, but afterall love is still a "passion". My most prominent passion lately has been finding my true solace in a forest. I've always dreamed of owning my own land as far away from big cities as possible, where I could live life by my own means without worrying about being 100% at the call and will of others. There are so many things I wish I could do but can't because it is impossible to do in cities. I would like to blacksmith out in the open without it being "illegal", I would like to go out and shoot some arrows or swing some swords without getting arrested, haha. But most of all I would just like to be in nature with my few modern comforts. A place where friends from all over are always welcome and can visit anytime needed or wanted. I am happy on my Musical passion front. I am nearly finished recording a new song I wrote, and although I am not a fan of the recording process, the final result is always worth it. That is where all the parts get to manifest themselves and shine through, and when they all come together in the end it makes me very happy. One of those things that reminds you just why you got into music in the first place.

My desire consists of several things. First I want to keep my lovely friends and want to enjoy my life together with them. I want to get to know different people from other countries, thats the reason why I´ll spend some time in a foreign country like Finland or Ireland or elsewhere. I think next year after I´ve finished my school I will travel to other countrys to work there and to learn more about the culture and so on. Another passion is the music, I love to play my guitar or my bass, I can relax while playing. And of course I need music in general to free my soul

Good to see another drummer on the forum. I've noticed most people seem to take in interest in guitar and bass firstly and usually don't get into the drums. I started on drums and then moved on to other instruments. Sadly now though I don't get to play my drums, and where I live now it is impossible to because they would be too loud. Drumming was something I took pride in being at least quite good at, which I can't yet say about guitar or other instruments. Good luck on your band search!
