equilibrium ensiferum finntroll wintersun korpiklaani that stuff should be called happy metal in my opinion... Equilibrium > okay (as it´s only Party at their concerts), Korpiklaani for some songs too (Beer Beer is party, of course). But the other bands have rather honest (and particularly some sad) lyrics, so even if the music sounds funny to your ears, it´s honest and quality music to my opinion. But anyway, have I mentioned "Vornicor" already? (German viking metal... beginners, but GOOD beginners.)

If you like Celtic music you should listen David Arkenstone - Spirit Of Ireland A Musical Odyssee. really great if you're in a lazy mood;)

I think primordial has some celtic "traditional" songs, wich made me like Ireland. you can almost feel the tragedies of that nation through their music

Thyrfing - Ukraft Amon Amarth - Fate Of Norns (it's much more depressive than Vs. and it's kinda personal to me ) Finntroll - Midnattens (I think Jaktens Tid has a lot of great songs realy, but the connception of Midnattens beats it) In Extremo - Sieben

I changed my mind somehow; I prefer "Urkraft" from Thyrfing. Besides, "Vannesvisor" sucks. Damn black metal.

At the moment i'm totaly in love with the newest album of Urban Trad : Elem. Urban Trad is as they call it
"As the name indicates, Urban Trad is a traditionally-inspired music band, deeply rooted in the 21st Century. The acoustic instruments (accordion, violin, flutes, etc.) and the singing are supported by a rhythmic section and modern stuff which endow the group with its unique color: a music which suits as well for a rock concert as for a cultural center. The vigor and the musical quality, which emanate from the songs, catch on to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. "
Although it's not realy metal... but it's kinda folk music so... Värttinä is pretty cool too, but also not metal.. I don't know many bands yet... in this area.. so.. the bands i do like, are Finntroll, Ensiferum and Shaman... I think I have to find more bands like that...
