Niiiice!! But hey, 26th of June isn't 107 days left, it's 78 days left! I know that because The Graspop Festival is on 26th of June and multiple sites are counting down to that! Edit: Nordis, you're the one editing the site aren't you? Are you sure you didn't set the counter to count to the 26th of July? I think Yrlund made it. Nowadays everything appears on the pages before I even hear about the updates, yet I'm still the one getting the credit Jep. You are too busy

I love the new artwork. Very cozy looking and serene little nook to be in, under a good roof with a warm fire and the pleasure of one's own self for company. That meat on the plate sure looks good! Looks like Vaari got a beard trim though, it's shorter than it used to be There's a particular spiritual vibe about this scene; he's not just having a good time but also something meaningful seems to be transpiring. His mouth is open - shamanic incantation, perhaps? Surely partaking of food is a merging with the natural sources that brought it forth. That's what I love about this simple backwoods style you Korpiklaani guys bring out so strongly in your music... Every mundane detail has an inner dimension, and simple everyday gesture can become ritual. I can't wait to see what the song titles are going to be.

I'll drink to that! ;D It definitely deserves a song of its own. Looking forward to finally having a proper vodka drinking song to add to my beer drinking songs!

I saw a tracklisting on Metal Archives:
1. Vodka 2. Erämaan Ärjyt 3. Isku Pitkästä Ilosta 4. Mettänpeiton Valtiaalle 5. Juodaan Viinaa 6. Uniaika 7. Kultanainen 8. Bring Us Pints Of Beer 9. Huppiaan Aarre 10. Vesaisen Sota 11. Sulasilmä 12. Kohmelo 13. Könnin Kuokkamies (Bonus track)
Is it correct?

Hahahah, the titles sound like something that Rytmihäiriö and Popeda would name their children if they breeded ;D Really looking forward to hear the actual songs, I hope they're just as perverted as I think

Lucky you, I have no idea about what the songs are (except "Vodka" and "Bring Us Pints Of Beer") - only trying to guess a few meanings...

What are the loose meanings/interpretations of some of the song titles? Of course it's up to Jonne to announce the official translations, but overall, how about a direct hint or two? Now that you've intrigued us you can't just walk away snickering

Korpiklaani website: Time to reveal the track list of our upcoming album Karkelo (release date June 26th)! But before we do, we have some other hot news for you. On May 25th we will release a single titled Vodka, on which will be two songs that will absolutely boost every party: Vodka and Juodaan Viinaa!! And even better, this single will also appear as picture vinyl!
Karkelo will appear as audio cd, as digipack and as picture vinyl.
1. Vodka 2. Erämaan Ärjyt 3. Isku Pitkästä Ilosta 4. Mettänpeiton Valtiaalle 5. Juodaan Viinaa 6. Uniaika 7. Kultanainen 8. Bring Us Pints Of Beer 9. Huppiaan Aarre (Könnin Kuokkamies (Bonus track - Digipack) 10. Vesaisen Sota 11. Sulasilmä 12. Kohmelo
Popeda is a famous rock band from Tampere. Their singer and lyric-writer is the (in)famous Pate Mustajärvi. Their often humorous lyrics are about very 'deep' and difficult subjects like cars, girls and drinking...
Rytmihäiriö is Finnish for arrhythmia, it is thrash-metal band, with among others lyrics about alcohol...
search on youtube for songs of both bands.
