Hi. I'm Phil from Russia's St.Petersburg, i've already been (c)rocking here a few years ago, glad to see the clan lives and still howls! I'm really into extreme metal (mostly the old-school part of that, also doom/stoner and occult rock), but Korpiklaani's still my fave band. Other interests are horror movies (i'm not a huge addict, but i'm working on it!) and heavy drinking. November 16 is the date of the next KK gig in our lands, well it's going to be my fifth in the row.
I guess i'm a kinda strange example of "people listening to Korpiklaani" lol. I've met one of my best friends on a gig a few years ago, he's also an obscure black metal addict, and surely even bigger KK fan than me - he's going to do a shaman tattoo.
[UPD:] I've watched a lot of horror movies, but true horror for me is that I'm going to be one of the last men standing! Seriously, it looks like the forum's occupied by the beautiful half of the mankind. Have all the guys been slain in battle? Ring Andrew the Brother Bear someone please, I may need help!

Hello, my name is Andrew (or as I prefer to be called, especially by my brother Phil: Brother Bear). Phil, how the heck have you been doing brother? You've been dearly missed! And even though I haven't been on the forums in at least as long as you have, I haven't forgotten about you man (that goes to everyone else I talked with here in the past too!)! Big thanks to our big sis Tiina for letting me know the Croc has been resurrected! To everyone else: Some of you may already know me by my other username, a name which I have forgotten and was too lazy to rediscover on my old computer. In the mean time I will be dominating the whispering of beards and trying to sign in on here as often as possible to keep in touch. A little about me: I'm 23 years old. I'm a student in the mid-west United States seeking to get a degree in German (debating on what focus, but probably Linguistics) and Philosophy (with a focus on Logic), in which I hope to use to become a professor myself some day. Which I hope I can accomplish, because I love College and can't imagine my life being lived without the feeling I get of being on campus. Aside from school, I spend most of my free time with my girlfriend Jess, who made the unfortunate mistake of moving here to the mid-west from her home state of Pennsylvania to be with me. When I get time to myself (which in this house, is sadly too rare) I spend it reading, thinking, writing music, and playing computer games like your usual low-life. My favorite areas of interest are Philosophy (especially those works of Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Russell, Wittgenstein, Quine, and Dennett), Language (with a distinct unwavering love for Indo-European language groups), History (Viking, Medieval), Music (writing and listening, but prefer to listen since I can't write), going on long walks, and travelling (which I rarely get to do). There is lots of other crap to learn about me, but none of it is really all that interesting. And as our beloved forum-veterans here are already aware of: I have a brilliantly boring habit of ranting on and on for a long time. So if I post on here as often as I used to in the past, I want to apologize ahead of time.

Let's pretend I don't know you Brother. ;D But as the song says...''welcome home, it's been so long , we've missed you''..here. Glad you're here and a that it took a living dead to bring you back. lol Now I wonder if I should make another account too, follow the trend, be cooler or sth. @ Phil: Andrew's alive too, but the beard took over his life and dominates his minds, thoughts and face. ;D @andrew: your so called 'rants' never bore me or anyone I know personally. Am waiting some cool posts again from you. @both: I will try to refer to you in next posts with the new nick-names, but it's bloody hard.

Damn, I couldn't even dream of that. I'm so glad to see you back here, brother!
That's all "about love and friendship" in the first half of the time i've been absent, and "about love and anguish" in the second one, so you may guess i wasn't a best interlocutor then... Unfortunately, my english is even worse than in the past times, i kunt even write a few words without a damn dictionary.
You should not apologize - i'll still be thinking "hell, the Bear again made a damn long wall of text", but at least that's your complex opinion, and those old long discussions in the "general intellectual" area were much more interesting than leaving a few daily posts 'bout the daily "what's on your mind today" stuff!
I'm a little sad about the clan has not grown a lot here... well, then we shouldn't damn leave it anymore. As for me, you all may mind that i've been on a long vacation to the world of damn naked limbs and emotions, and i don't actually want to go there again.
Neeah, the trend's too used and obsolescent already!

Sis: It would be unfortunate for you to create another account! You're probably one of the longest posting members of this page! So you deserve to keep your profile in all it's glory! Phil and I got lazy, I know at least one of us forgot our log-in information, so it is perhaps fitting that we must start again from the ground up! Haha Phil, err, WitchRider: I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have the best time away from the forums! Hope things are looking up though man! And no worries about your English, we'll gradually push it back into your brain! Hahaha, the Bearded Bear will try not to make too long of text-walls this time! But I doubt I will accomplish that objective. My fingers sometimes seem to type faster than my mind thinks, thus explaining the small caliber of my commentary! Hahaha I know. It saddens me too! I think perhaps that is one of the reasons I stopped getting on. It seemed that not only did the clan not grow, but also too often the usual members would take their leaves. I guess we too are to blame for that! I will try to stay more active on here now. I have abandoned the use of that soul-sucking contraption known as facebook, and I would much rather replace it with something wherein real conversations actually seem to develop! And I miss my brothers and sisters (including those new members whom I hope to become acquainted with!) Heh, I guess Phil and I are trend-setters now! Awesome, first and only time I'll get to say that in my life.

My only glory here is being like the plague, hard to get rid of. ;D Well things were lots funnier and smarter with you two active here, so I am hoping you do stay active. I agree, let's terrorise Phil. ;D Amen to that!!!!!! Enjoy that! ;D

Hi!! I'm Elisa, 26, from Italy (though everyone mistakes me for a Finn from the name... until they see me ). Actually I'm now living in Helsinki where I study biology, and at the moment I'm writing you while I wait for my microscope to do its job XD I'm studying some Finnish, but unfortunately I don't need it much for everyday life, so I usually just rely on English and that's why my language skills aren't improving, I should practice more! (By the way, anyone willing to teach me something? ) I listen to lots of different kind of music, but metal is difinitely my favourite, and I like Korpiklaani a lot! I've seen them 3 times until now (2 in Helsinki and 1 in Italy) and the Manala release party was one of the funniest gigs I went to

Hello everyone My name is Lisa and I am a 17-year old metalhead girl from Germany I know Korpiklaani for about half a year now and they soon became one of my favourite bands. I loved them even more after seeing them live at the Heidenfest show in Berlin (and talking to Jonne afterwards) So now I am here to talk to other fans. Greets
